Good morning
I’m in Southport and I intend to visit Liverpool tomorrow before moving into Cheshire
Are there park and rides or , if not a coach park close into the centre
I have a dog so I can’t go into any buildings of interest so I need maybe 4/5 hours
Best wishes
Chris

You need to to tell that other guy he's the one with bad comments ???

HI all. Touring from NZ and followed Gyropilots suggestions on parking at Crosby. Used the train into Liverpool Centre. We were very lucky to be shown around by Rod , and learned just so much of the History.

Why is there always a photo of Liverpool supporters when some one mentions scousers. We all know there are more Everton supporters in Liverpool.::bigsmile: And before any red comes on, probably from London.......we blue noses are very bitter :*.

Of course anyone including reds are always welcome to share some 'blue' wine at our pitch, here in Grimaud, 10 metres from the med.
Have you been to the new stadium at the docks yet? Spectacular...

There's always one.

You will meet the friendliest people in Liverpool , the city isn't anything like the stereotype the rest of the country perceives it to be.

2020 car theft data shows Merseyside as not even in the top 10 for car theft
Thats because we have more top end Mercs, Range Rovers and Volvo's, BMW too, than any other city in the UK.

Dr. Duncan info -

and not forgetting one of the worlds best Rock venues in the 60’s and 70’s ( now demolished) the Liverpool Stadium, I saw so many seminal artists there on their rise to mega stardom

The Cavern? My dad's band was the warm up act for the Beatles. Sadly never reached mega money deals though. Damn!

I knew all the guys that ran the events at the Cavern, did a couple of songs there many times when I took friends and family on a Sunday afternoon.

And, did you know, The Queensway Tunnel was used to film scenes for the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010). This provided Claire House children's hospice in Wirral with a £20,000 windfall, the money being paid to Merseytravel by Warner Brothers, the makers of the film, for use of the Tunnel as a location.[2]

In November 2012 scenes for the film Fast & Furious 6 (2013) were filmed in the Queensway Tunnel.[3]
Scenes from Captain America were filmed outside Bramley More dock. There's loads of movies filmed in the city.

Liverpool has come on so much in the past 20 years,

Loved when Everton opened a shop at the Livepool one retail complex
they called the shop "Everton 2 "

the postal address then became, "Everton 2" - Liverpool one, Liverpool, L1 8JQ
brilliant
