Upsidedown Union Flag

I know it's pedantic but I also hate to see the Union Jack being flown upside down - so when we stopped at the RAF Memorial near Folkestone I was amazed to see they'd got it wrong. Obviously I called in and pointed it out - guess what, nobody had a clue as to what I was talking about "we'll have to speak to the manager when he comes in".

But later, I realised as it was a Memorial site was this, in fact, deliberate?

so you are a racist Scot then?
Not that i agree with his potential actions, but perhaps in his eyes, its the same as English/British with the European flag instead of the Union flag or St Georges flag.

NOT 100% sure...but sure enough to say no.. even at memorial sites it should be flown the right way up.

I once saw our beloved Union Flag being flown on a public flag pole in Cherbourg. Upside down!

I complained to the Mayor:LOL:
DFDS ferry had white bands the same thickness so it wasn't upside down or right side up but it was still wrong
