I'd burn it whether the right way up or not.If I saw an upside down Union flag I'd take it down and burn it.
Why? That's our national flag like it or lump it. It is due respect.I'd burn it whether the right way up or not.
so you are a racist Scot then?I'd burn it whether the right way up or not.
Not that i agree with his potential actions, but perhaps in his eyes, its the same as English/British with the European flag instead of the Union flag or St Georges flag.so you are a racist Scot then?
NOT 100% sure...but sure enough to say no.. even at memorial sites it should be flown the right way up.I know it's pedantic but I also hate to see the Union Jack being flown upside down - so when we stopped at the RAF Memorial near Folkestone I was amazed to see they'd got it wrong. Obviously I called in and pointed it out - guess what, nobody had a clue as to what I was talking about "we'll have to speak to the manager when he comes in".
But later, I realised as it was a Memorial site was this, in fact, deliberate?
DFDS ferry had white bands the same thickness so it wasn't upside down or right side up but it was still wrongI once saw our beloved Union Flag being flown on a public flag pole in Cherbourg. Upside down!
I complained to the Mayor
