Spotted diesel at £1.69.9 on the outskirts of Shrewsbury today on my way home. It had gone up 4p a litre from when I passed it under 5 hours earlier going the other way

As you know, I am heavily involved with our local DA of the C&CC and I can assure you, we are getting a lot of bookings for meets from people that otherwise would have chosen to go abroad or big commercial sites. About £70 per night on a site or about £15 and some even have EHU. It makes our hobby more attainable to keep the costs down

We're on our first one this weekend in Wareham Forest, I'm sure we'll do more now we know more about them.

We’re lucky in that we can afford the increases and rather like someone else on here said, increasingly recently we’re coming to realise it’s time we may be short of rather than money. I bumped into one of my lovely ex patients and her husband yesterday with her 86 year old mother in the car park at my gym, I’d not seen them for a while and their 39 year old son had died a few months ago of a brain haemorrhage. Not sure how I missed that in the local paper. Puts things in perspective a bit. We shed a tear.

Off to a funeral on Tuesday, admittedly he was elderly but you’re a long time dead.
