THIS week I bought

I bought mine 3 weeks ago and have had the "black screen of doom" twice , easily recoverable . But will go to John Lewis for advice when I have the time.
Store is handy for me as it opened in Leeds last year in the New trinity centre. Mine is new December 2014 stock and has updated itself already so I'll let you know if I encounter this DOOM
So far mine has only gone black due to energy saver settings.
I've just downloaded camera viewer 2 from mac app store, this lets me watch our van in storage via the site cameras

Another great feature of the MacBook air is the illuminated keyboard option.
I often sit without lights on at home but as it gets darker I had to put them on but no longer!

Ordered a Kampa Motor Rally Air awning at NEC yesterday, may be useful as somewhere to evict dogs to...as long as they don't chew the air beams! :)

Just bought from Amazon after reading consistently better reviews and £22 LESS than apple store

I've been on constant for nearly 11hrs today and the battery is at 22%
My laptop would have died in well under two hrs

If it's anything like the mouse, it lasts ages. I don't bother switching the mouse off, just change the rechargeable batteries once every six weeks.

Use one at work with the iMac and it's brilliant. If you're used to a Windows one it might take a while to get used to using it but once you do you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. The top surface is a bit like the trackpad on the Macbook. Clicking in different places and with one, two or three fingers all do different things. You can also swipe on it.

Just bought 10m length of food grade hose for filling up.(eBay)
Got one of those fold flat hose on a reel plus loads of different tap fittings so should now be all prepared

I know you have one BUT i find them very intuitive and quite natural to use. They do eat batteries but not as much as the keyboard

That's another darn thing to protect from the mice then!

I bought a protective neoprene sleeve too on ebay, the same as in apple store but less than half price or less depending on colour. ACME MADE San Fransisco .

I got the iMac PC from JL in the Black Friday sale, the mouse and keyboard are great, the mouse is just like using a touch screen monitor without getting dirty fingerprints on the screen!!, I got a warning on the display screen just this week that the mouse battery was low and believe me it's had some hammer since I got it, so good battery life really.

A Spanish 12k Gas Bottle , Adaptor & Pipe , twice as much Gas for half the price with a free bottle from the Brico shop, should have done it years ago. Pete

Remember this?

Well it's now permanently wired into the MH. I just used the magnetic rear cover to position it on top of the Sargent box of tricks
So its at the top of the MH and with a fibreglass roof it gets a GPS signal.

Switching to the Geo Fence thing means it does use the data package on the sim card. By default it sends a data packet every 30 seconds. Each packet is 150 bytes so after 6,990 packets have been sent you will have used 1Mb on your data plan. That's 1Mb every 2.5 days. Okay if you have a good plan with cheap data and you would like to see your route mapped out while on tour.

While it is parked up at home I think I'll just use the SMS location

You do realize that TV will be spying on you  watching and hearing every word

AND switching it off won't work cos it can be switched on again remotely
How do you think GOOGLEBOX works You might be next to be on it, big brother is watching you, it is past 1984 he was just a bit advanced in his predictions.

An 80watt solar panel and all the bits to fit it to the van, and a Blade Nano QX quadcopter to play with indoors when the weathers too bad to fly my big one outside.
