THIS week I bought

Lost the lockable water filler cap. We must have left it behind when we last filled-up and I didn’t notice until a couple of days later. Of course, when we went back to the tap there was no sign of it.
Bought a new one today. It’s so annoying that we now have yet another key on the key fob.

order the made to measure bike cover that my brother and partner ought me for crimbo

A can of ACF50 for the Kettle's polished alloy engine cases, plus a new can of Würth chain lube.

Not much change from a score.

For washing the car and M/H.

Roof cleaning fluid, headlamp beam deflectors, Camping-Car Park Pass'Etapes and Privilidges pack, duvet cover (wrong size - oops!), First Aid kit (DINthingy approved), a UK sticker to replace the GB sticker currently attached, a large reflective warning triangle, a spare 6kgs gas bottle, a 3-1 exhaust header pipe for one of my GT750 Kettle projects and a Triumph T150 Trident tail lamp holder. And it's only Wednesday..........................

Yesterday. Bought 4 mudguard stay bolts from Robinson's for the Kettle.

£2.75 each.... 😵‍💫

But at least at Kettle meets I can hold my head high having the right parts.... 😉
Including the over-polished casings, powder-coated frame, stainless steel spokes etc? ;)

Pretty much. Mine has cleaned up casings and standard spokes. I need a few bits like a chrome rear mudguard as mine is more rust around the mounts. I guess after 45 years it's to be expected. New headlamp. A 7" Mini fits apparently....

A new kitchen tap for the van. The Wickes bargain one fouled the sink lid so took it back and replaced with a different design. Now to summon up courage to fit it

Hi Figaro yes it's a filter system it is for distilling water from the tap. When you washed your car/van you then do the last wash through the filter and it should stop all the water marks. Have yet to test it.

I would have thought living up there you would have similar lovely soft water like we do in Wales or is a chalky area I like Scottish water 🚰

These arrived in the post today all the way from Germany. Rather expensive bits of chromed steel. They did however cost less than several chromers in the UK quoted to do the ones on the bike! They are so nice, do I really want to fit them.....? ;)

4 x 4kg bags of chewy dog food/treats for our Tazzy, not having many teeth she finds it a bit difficult to eat harder stuff other than small biscuits so we have treated her to a year's supply, although she's probably thinking more likely 6 month's worth! They are similar to Frolic polo type but cheaper at €7.86 a bag.

Do they do them for humans? I find Gingernuts particularly hard on my gums.

New MOT for the Laika now researching insurance as that is due soon, got a quote yesterday, ended up being from same company as we are with now, so will wait to see what the renewal is.

I bought and fitted a pair of fog lights more for seeing kerbs and road edges on dark unlit roads rather than seeing in fog.
Modified a blank switch cover into an operating switch rather than drilling another hole in the dash somewhere and mounted a LED below to indicate when the fog lights are on.
