THIS week I bought

A new Fitbit as old one has failed, lost pulse and Bluetooth so can’t alter much and wont turn off, needed to let battery run down, then no different, tried several resets.
anyway new one is green, my favourite colour, well one of them, of course the watch strap and charger is different, so have several coloured watch straps and 2 chargers, wonder if anyone would use it just as a watch as that is still going

Just obtained a 9 inch Xgody from Ebay -
Remember though, if bought as a Truck Sat Nav where you can enter vehicle dimensions, weights, and number of axles, etc, it won't respond to those by steering you clear of associated hazards, as it won't have the all important (.ftr) Truck files. None of them do when new, and have to be updated upon receipt.

The latest maps available with the (.ftr) Truck files, are HERE 2021 Q2.

I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago for £49.99, and not only did it not come with the Truck files, it was set up for German language, and thought it was in Moscow. All working a treat now though, keeping me away from low bridges and the like. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

But what’s it for?

They can explain it so much better than me. :giggle:

All the different types of spray paints required to paint the plastic and metal bumpers and skirt.

thought I would also spray the front grille and the plastic wheel trim covers to match.

sand paper masking tape masking paper and some thinners

so soon that’s another job to start soon .

I have a couple of woodworking projects to do: new saloon table, shelves etc., and since the Delta table saw I lent SIL 18 months ago has not reappeared I decided to go to LIDL and get a cheapie! My miniature Proxxon FET saw takes care of small detailed bits, and this one is just to hack out panels. Trouble is, buying a cheapie tool usually means grotty tooling, and this one was no exception. The locking fence was all over the place, and the mitre gauge floated around in the slot like a minnow in a fast flowing stream!
The saw came with side extensions, but these were such a pain to take on and off, that I spent a couple of hours making two fixtures: one for cross cutting and one for panels, thus making life a lot easier. Having done the fettling, the saw is pretty good. Two speeds, two saws, and cuts are now spot on accurate, and a 3 year guarantee, all for £99.00! Here's a couple of pics.

Saw as supplied, but without side panels.

I lost my front screen cover bag last year in France
I've been struggling to find a bag big enough and then I found these - the largest one is perfect.

PhilMary It is called a overland plus 18000mah 5v/12v/19v power bank and jump starter. It came from www .mobilesolorchargers.co.uk. It cost £109 .95 . plus del charge of £4.95. But has worked well.

I bought a spring loaded heavy-duty curtain pole to fix above the hab door. Next time a chill wind blows and there’s a draft through the door, I’ll hang a curtain from it to cover the doorway. It can double as a second hanging rail for the wardrobe on longer trips.

Telescopic Spring Tension Rod 70-120cm, Metal Black Shower Curtain Pole Extendable Room Divider without Drilling, Adjustable Rail Hanging Bar for Bathtub Shower Stall Window Doorway Closet Wardrobe Amazon product ASIN B0843976VZ
