THIS week I bought

Bough a new Philips Navigator road atlas from Amazon. The old one was 2015 so really out of date.
Our local Waterstones had them in stock at £24. From Amazon it was £17.
I know I have the Garmin but I still like a real map for planning routes.

Do you have a motorhome?

Bought the pano thermal screen from Towsure. No instructions but pictures on box show non reflective side outside and silver inside. I would have thought that the silver would reflect the sun better?

I agree but it does show it that way round on their website ... would it fit okay the other way round?

Wacaco Minipresso NS - portable Nespresso coffee maker, solves the age-old problem of a decent cup of coffee without messy grounds to clean up in the 'van.

Would be grateful if you would post a hands on review of your Wacaco Minipresso NS as you have sparks an interest
in me getting to one, but don't want to fork out for maybe another item to join the others in the back of the drawer. :giggle:

I bought an Ooni oven pizza maker (wood pellets) to finish off my garden bar/BBQ area ... You can see it in the far corner, expensive for what they are but provided great results first time out. I got mine Preloved so saved over 50% on price from new.

Total cost of bar was less than £60 ...

I have the older version of the Ooni and we normally pack it in the MH. It makes great steaks too in just a matter of minutes.

Here's a review from Amazon. Not good it appears...

It’s so hard to push in the button to pump the machine that I’ve had to return it.

It takes so long to pump (if you can physically do that bit) that the coffee is cold by the time that you get to drink it.

That’s all assuming you actually manage to get any coffee in the cup as it takes so much pressure to push the button that it wiggles everywhere and deposits coffee all over the table.

Just to put this into context I’m fit and reasonably strong person with a small child, so am used to lifting things.

So sad as I had so much hope for this product but it’s a waste of time and money sadly.

They must have been a 5 stone weakling as I have watched a few reviews on YouTube and even a young girl from a outdoor shop demonstrating it didn't seem to struggle pumping it.
I'm more interested if it produces like for like coffee from the same pod as a mains powered Nespresso pod coffee maker would.

Building the bar was the cheap bit ... its stocking it with booze that's gonna cost! :giggle:
Well if you don't bring your own, you're not invited lol

Hi Two on Tour, to be honest, I've not used it much, but enough to say it makes a good cup of coffee. Depends how you like your brew. The tank only holds about 70ml, which isn't much if you want a regular size, but we just refill it and use the Nespresso capsule again. There is a bigger 100ml tank available, but seemed easier to just refill. You need to be careful, as playing around with hot water, and it may spill and spurt a bit when being opened after use, nothing holding it over the sink won't contain. Pumping it is good exercise, you should see my pecs!! All in all, worth it we think for a better and easier drink than other options in a 'van.

No problemo ... I will willingly bring enough for all there ... 😃

I only drink non-alcoholic beverages so hope they all like lemonade and lime! :giggle:

I bought one last year and it's too much faffing for a small amount of coffee, the wife refused to use it after the 1st attempt. I'm know the proud owner of an Aeropress about £30 from Amazon and takes proper coffee. It makes a mug of coffee at a time, so much better IMHO
