THIS week I bought

I would of said a 2000 series as it has a split grilling tray and the electric lighter

My 1000 series has a one piece grilling try and manual clicker

The 1000 is same size but 1200 then gives side tables, temp gauge, electronic igniter. This is the same through the Q range so 2000, basic, 2200 gives same extras as above. About £40 more for them. I also got the trolley which is £19 extra, amazing for the money.

The Weber I use on the patio at home is old enough to be in the 100s not 1000s. A Q200 with fold out tables and single griddle with wheeled trolly. Added a temperature gauge and replaced click ignition with electronic version. Still going strong so no need to change.

For the motorhome I use a Q1200 with griddle one side and plancha on the other.

New rear coil springs!

For our new-to-us MoHo, this week I bought;

1. Thetford Blue, Pink and Grey (the Blue reminds me of our tugging days long ago and I spent 5 minutes breathing in the smell !!! LOL)
2. A 50m mains hookup cable
3. A 15m mains cable with circuit breaker and 3 UK sockets (we live in France but computers and printer still have UK plugs)
4. A 3-way splitter
5. Mini spirit level

Lots more on the 'I need it' list, so more to come :)
We buy French 1 metre extension leads for our French/Spanish Kit and fit 1 x 13 amp plug for use in UK. Saves a lot of work faffing about with different plugs etc. Then bring the French into the house for use with the French tools that travel to/fro from the French hovel, esp. the multi tool metal/wood cutting tool! 1 x 13amp plug, 4 European sockets!

The 15m cable comes with a circuit breaker and 3 UK sockets as a full unit, so we just plug the whole thing into the mains splitter :)

Are adac still covering people in rest of Europe gus.is it just uk not able to get comprehensive cover now
Yes,all still the same here as I specifically asked when the renewal was due. matamoros has renewed the same in Portugal.

**They also stated I'd have no problem using it if I had a problem in the UK? i don't really know why I keep it going as my spanish vehicle insurance gives me exactly the same cover, recovery, vehicle rental, hotels & medical except repatriation. it is the repatriation that I convince myself it is worth keeping & in all honesty it doesn't cost a lot & we are both covered in any vehicle we are in..

PULICAMPER - Rapid Cleaner for Camper Exteriors

I have a couple of black streaks on our MoHo, saw this product and bought it. I've yet to try it but it sounds good :)

(Not looking for recommended alternatives, btw :) )

12v + Mains soldering irons and 7.5m roll of solder, plus soldering station [posher sounding than 'Holder' ...] arrived at lunchtime so I should be able to join cables together in the flat or in Brunhilde ... I am expecting plastics to crack [soldering iron good for fusing the plastic joint, failing which I have superglue, self tappers & pop rivets as back up ... Belt, braces, sock suspenders to the fore] and electrical connections to need attention [2 boxes of 12v fuses in various amp sizes + box of house fuses for any kit failure whilst on EHU].

All I need to do now is upgrade the MGW to 3850kg to carry all the kit ... But, on the bright side, I won't be one of those poor 3500kg owners who seem to be sneered at and scorned by other Motorhomers ... ;). Can I claim a Bonus Point for linking 2 threads in 1 post? Pretty please? God loves a trier [so I'm told]

Did the yearly alloy wheel wash on the weekend lemon flash looking lovely

A lower engine stabiliser bar, 2 x anti rll bar bushes & an oil seal for half shaft as I suspect one has started to weep slightly.
Oh & a new gate motor counts as it lets me out without having to open/shut manually.

Spare gas bottle from calor £40 plus gas 20 but should never run out again

Our Ralf has torn his cruciate ligament, he is 13 years old and can't be operated on. He can't walk anywhere for least 6-8 weeks if all goes well, therefore we can't really go out anywhere. So had to buy a Dog buggy as we are off in MHome on Thursday and want to get out. Hopefully we'll get some use out of it as for a decent one not cheap. Ha........ Ralf has his own Motorless Home.
