This week I bought a replacement coil for my Telma Retarder seeing as the van is Sorned I decided to give the entire thing an overhaul and get it operational so I would have a super useful gadget once we are allowed out again.

New DeWalt drill and impact driver from Screwfix, (and a multimeter to leave in van.)

If this goes on for much longer I will be skint ?

We have just had to buy a new washing machine. The old one has been repaired once a month via Domestic and Genral repair contract. for the last year.
I tried to call them back to it this morning. An hour on hold and being cut off twice was enough. I understand the situation at there end but we need the washing machine daily with our daughter being NHS. Last time we used the local launderet.
The years contract with them is due so that will not be renewed. We will have the manufacturers call out for a year if it comes to repairs.
New machine arrives Friday.

Okay, here we go... this week I bought:
A 2200W generator, Tefal ingenio 20 piece set of pans& kitchen tools, matching mugs/tray/coaster/placemats (all of Dachshunds), dachshund printed bedding, Aluminium telescopic ladder, aluminium table, collapsible buckets/drainer/basket/bowls/colanders, an Apeman mini projector a drop down screen, an amatuer radio for the motorhome (for those who partake it's a yaesu 991a with Atas antenna), luggage scales, a mop, silicone spray. solar panel, whistling kettle, can/bottle opener,12 volt fan, levelling ramps, toilet stuff, 5L water bags, waterproof bags, and an Amazon Echo show to use in the motorhome that has not yet been delivered to us due to this global plague/virus/the zombie problem. Yes it's our first motorhome so lots more purchases to make. :)

So what are you going to bury under the new patio?

No more concrete patios, just finished digging up the previous owners life-time investment in Blue Circle which has amounted to four 16tonne lorry loads being taken away so far...

As this Covid-19 is keeping most of us indoors I thought I'll polish the car for something to pass the time.

64 tons? A cubic yard of concrete rubble weighs about 2 tons so that’s about 32 cubic yards, at 4” thick that’s about 8 yards per cube = 256 sq yards of patio, that’s about 18 yards by 14 yards, 54’ x 42’ that’s some patio!

Its a landing pad for the new Amazon drones that are going to be delivering massive parcels in the future to those who have gone on a lockdown spending spree! :giggle:

This week bought 25mm cable, ends, rccb, mega fuse, changeover relay and crimping tool to fit our inverter when I get round to it. Just waiting on the relay.

Tile backer boards and adhesive for tiling the kitchen.

Be glad when this lockdown is over so can get some rest
