THIS week I bought

A dictionary ... for old Mo's thread what is a b***tard.

The latest avtex TV with the built in satellite and 21". For the Motorhome. It's a fantastic telly.
In fact it's made us realise how rubbish the ones at home are:Blush:

Just ordered external screen covers for the van. We have internals for the summer but thought we needed something to keep the cold out.
10% off from JC

We bought ourselves two new phones Moto G. Google phones now just got to work out how to use them, now we can use our old phones for Morocco.

I bought a 24 inch LG Smart TV, from Curry's, had a demo in store seemed what we wanted, we asked the sales assistant where they were to get one and told us they were underneath the one on display behind a larger one in the aisle way, so picked one up and went to pay got a nice surprise when it was £10 less than on display, tonight when I came to test it I found the LG 24 inch I brought home was just a TV or Monitor, not the Smart I should have, Hence the £10 reduction via the bar code, (they had been stock taking ) so back to Curry's tomorrow 20 mile round trip what a pain. Pete :Sad::Sad::Sad:

Took delivery of a very nice quiet 1.15Kva inverter generator this morning. Fits under the side facing sofa easily.
Going to France to try it out next weekend

I took the TV back to Curry's yesterday only to be told by the assistant they don't change boxes that have been opened, I explained that the box had to be opened to try the TV it was then I realized the error, and I had only took a box from the stack where I had been told my intended purchase was by the sales man, I had to show her where I had taken it from and yes they were mixed up some just a TV and others Smart TV's , I came out with the correct one tested it last night and very pleased with it. Bought an 15L electric water heater/boiler for the kitchen, we'll be putting it in the attic to save loosing space under the sink but it means we don't have to heat up the large water tank every time we want to wash up etc. :thumb:

Also got a bargain cooker yesterday for £160 - it is less than a year old, the exact model we wanted and in immaculate condition as it had hardly been used at all (the owners got it because their old one packed up and now they've decided to have a new kitchen installed with integrated appliances - a great saving as it would have been at least £450 if we'd got a new one. It is white, which I'm not overly keen on as I prefer black or S/steel, but as hubby does most of the cooking now I let him choose ... and I am getting MY conservatory aren't I.

Just gotta get a white cooker hood now to match!

My first - and all - my Xmas presents today :thumb: and I'm especially chuffed with my work's Secret Santa prezzy for a Burnley Football Club fan, a personalised scoreboard mug, Burnley beats Man Utd 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick by xxxxxx I cant tell you who cos its a secret!

A 1.5hp compressor + accessories from:: Screwfix £ 99.99 down from £150. Wifey got new kitchen and bathroom!!!!!!
Cheers, Dave :Eeek::Eeek::thumb:

A rather good copy, automatic orange beveled Omega watch :thumb::thumb:Forgot I ordered it :Smile:but now it's here I can keep it for a spare:thumb: (sieko charged me above £100 to put a new capasistor in my everyday watch) so now Ican squirrel it away somewhere for a rainy day  with a bit of luck I may find where I have put the Original one along with a Tag auto one. Both have been missing for around 3 yrs

Called in at brownhills Newark to swap some incorrect parts. Found some 40mm ID flexible hose in the accessory shop at £4.49 per metre. Bought 3 as it fits my Rapido 40mm OD grey waste pipe perfect :thumb: Handy for super pitches or ParcVerger and for CC sites with stupid grates

And a case of champagne from Lidl at £10 per bottle.

.. four Mars bars for a pound.... What?? I'm easily pleased.

I remember Woolworths selling 5 for 50p ( a while ago) I used to treat myself to a Mars bar a day, so thought this would be a bargain, a whole weeks worth of Mars bars for 50p.
They were all gone by Monday lunch time!

Anyway, this week, I bought, a Chinese Sat Nav, a cheap ebay tracker, a new Macbook Pro and a bottle of Stolichnaya Vodka. :beer chug:

Now broke.
