THIS week I bought

That is probably true jezport. I think I would rather lose a couple of wheels than the van though.
I can’t find anything about locking the control unit in the manual. So might have been dreaming again! The installer did say he thinks most owners remove the remote control when leaving the van on the jacks. So I am hoping the system can be isolated when on jacks somehow. Anyone know?
If the thieves manage to get the ignition on and let the handbrake off the legs retract automatically Peppadog

Why change the wheels? Is it a weight thing, or a looks thing.
As per the OP's post, he changed from 15 to 16" wheels because of weight,, Changing to 16" means that if he wants to he can change the van to 4.1 t with more or less just a paper exercise now

Thanks Badknee. Yes I knew that. I just had the idea in my head it could all be isolated. Clearly not. As stated somewhere here, being up on jacks might deter them, plus my ‘crooklock’ type steering wheel lock.

I’m sure YOU can isolate it, if it isn’t an option. But as others have said, I think it will be a real deterrent to thieves. They won’t know they auto retract, or how to control them.

I wish I'd seen that offer, Ditcha. I'm not sure the free delivery would apply to NZ. I have just ordered two Goodyear Efficient Grip Cargo tyres and will have to wait up to a month for them to come into the country. My two tyres are costing me almost as much as your six!

I have E & P jacks, as I found to my cost if the D+ relay fails, the legs can not be deployed or retracted, on my Mercedes chassis it is very easy to access and remove that relay ?

I don’t of course, butit would make an excellent anti theft package ?

Oh and a MOT on our 2019 scooter ... yes an MOT :( ... as it had been written off with 'cosmetic damage' (original owner had either dropped it or it was knocked over within the first month of ownership so it was simply replaced) our insurer's underwriter insisted on it so we could prove it was safe and roadworthy, they also wanted a letter/report too which I produced and the MOT man signed and stamped, only cost £25.
Good news, the insurance broker has heard back from the underwriter who have confirmed they are happy with the info we sent so we are now fully insured with no conditions/extra cost. (y)

If you’d gone for the Goldschmitt levellers, you’d have found that you can PIN lock them when deployed, just saying ?

But if you start up and drive off do they not auto retract? If not what happens?

A few years ago I had to run over to a German guy and remind him his jacks were still down - he was revving the nuts out of the engine with the front wheels spinning. He thought he was stuck in mud and forgotten his legs were still down. So maybe that's what happens if you PIN lock the jacks?

Feeling a bit down after yesterdays news...

Went out and bought this =

Any chance of a pic Please?
I assume you meant the axe & cleaver?
Having cleaned the cleaver I don't think it is a butcher's one as it looks a bit home made. the other double sided one is annoying me as I am sure at the back of my mind I have seen/read about what it is but for the life of me can't remember.Any info appreciated.
