Your probably right, but the French one lasts 3 years, so something may have been sorted by then.
 
We had a spare cassette gifted to us but unfortunately it had lost it's top slide

So at the weekend we visited our local accessory shop (they had an open weekend with free food to boot)

The 1949 ones run for a year, but they are only needed for Spain and some other countries outside of Europe, such as the USA and Canada. The 1968 ones, which are used in most of the rest of Europe, run for 3 years
 
A folding stool from Aldi , well 2 one for home and a new one for the motorhome. We got the old one as a gift nearly 10 years ago, has finally given up the ghost, gluing the split didn't work. Hope these ones last as long.
 
Got a towbar deliverd for our Pegaso 590 as usual there is no towbar listed apparently because its a new model?, but measured up a Eldiss at Broadlands last week and ordered the same towbar, it bolted straight on, now I can remove the Fiamma bike carrier and fit a towbar mounted carrier which will save liftting the bikes 5 ft up in the air.

A new doormat and a cheap Chinese satnav for trucks ( hasn’t arrived yet so if it does I’ll report back )
 
Vought from Aldi online a new kettle and a fire extinquisher from theoir caravanning special buys!
 
Aircon has not worked or been used for over 4yrs I believe
I will try a DIY fix

Not so sure it is a bargain? With only 1.25mm cores and without an RCD, the maximum recommended length for an extension is just 12 metres. I would not personally give it house room and often have to fail such items when PAT testing -where people have incorrectly assumed because it was on sale it was safe to use.

But each to their own!

Why pay for an RCD when plugging it in to an RCBO protected socket. Where do you get your 12 metres from :LOL: that's nonsense
 
Three year Fiat camper warranty making five years now with uk and European breakdown. Thought it was a bargain.
