THIS week I bought

Fresh water tank filler connector
Link Removed

I have a similar one. When I first used it I found that, because of the angle of the internal filler for the tank, the water hit it and sprayed back out. I solved that by pushing a short length (about 6") of 12mm filler hose onto the tube stub on the connector. The hose follows the curve of the internal filler and works brilliantly.

It can't come back on this one it is sealed for vented tanks that have an overflow. You must have had a vented one for non vented tanks.

Here is a vented

You're correct  I bought the vented one thinking that the tank was non-vented and later found that it was vented. Never mind, it works fine

I also bought a 12 litre watering can that has the the opening to fill it right at the back so when you tip it right up to get the last of the water into the tank it doesn't poor out of the neck all over you

Such an awe inspiring purchase, don't you think? :Rofl1:

Well, I thought I'd bought a double skillet from the skillet lady.
Paid via PayPal and all seemed ok. As we live in France I'd arranged for delivery to a friends house in the UK
I get home from a few days away only to find she's returned my money without any explanation.

Hey ho, one of the draw backs of living in France I suppose

I couldn't justify the £45-£50.00 price of a "motorhome safe" So I picked up one from MachineMart for £28.79.

I put it under the seat (door facing up) with two screws into the carcass and two long bolts through the floor and bedded it in with some adhesive.

Took 15 minutes. :thumb:

Actually, if I had bought them for Rita, they would have come with Marigolds already sown in to the cuffs. I am known to be quite extravagant at times. :Rofl1:
