THIS week I bought

This week I bought a retro fit exhaust in benidorm and it cost 605 euros:cry::cry:.

The worst bit we left a 50 euro deposit when exhaust was ordered and forgot to ask garage to take it off the price.

So total cost was 655 Euros,

Yes you heard that right 655 Euros.

I will phone them and ask them to send the 50 euros to my home address, but I do not hold out much hope.:cry:

A note to all Funsters, do check your exhaust pipe before going abroad as it can be a very costly item.

This week Jane and I bought a shalet in Selsey situated at the Selsea Country Club.
Janes parents are in their early eighties now, so we thought why not buy the shalet and spend a bit more time down there with them:thumb:

I,ve just bought this, I wanted a cheap runaround, saw it advertised locally and bought it, the pictures make it seem much better than it really is, bodywork etc, but it was cheap to buy, free tax and only £108 fully comp insurance.

I sold my Canon Eos 40D outfit-too heavy to lug around anymore  and bought a Lumix DMC-TZ30.
I also bought a Plantronics gaming headset-so that I can talk to Air Traffic Control as I fly a 747 accross the Atlantic

Mike.

As a very careful spender from the North East I cannot afford luxury items like bread or carrots. Instead I used my allowance to send Jim a postage stamp for a Funster Sticker.
Why buy when you can have it given.
All donations very gratefully received.

Sorry to hear you sold your Canon Eos 40D, I love mine to bits, we also use a Panasonic Lumix for quick snaps but it just doesn`t anywhere near the quality of photos as the Canon.

We hope you enjoy using it though.:thumb:

Sanef

Not sure if this counts but just getting into Portsmouth returning from a delivery trip to Barcelona, used Sanef Toll Transponder, superb, was in a Renault Trafic van so could slip under the 2m barriers for the class 1 lanes, tested it on the over 2m works perfectly though slightly slower.
Came with an extra clip for the motorhome and we can just switch from vehicle to vehicle, the new motorhome has Reimo blinds and is Transit based and reaching for tickets has been - challenging for both the blinds and for my navigator as she wiggles her way back in which is entertaining but not sustainable in the long term.
The gadget on the windscreen works is not especially expensive and makes you feel rather special.
I know its no motorhome but my van a 2ltr 115psi Trafic with the Nissan engine, 1900 miles, always at 130kph where permitted, well loaded and plenty of Barcelona traffic 41.3mpg based on real tank to tank calculations, so much better than the 135psi VW Transporter it replaced.

Bought a Vauxhall Combo van to replace our aging VW Caddy run about which was on its last legs:cry:

I did keep my Canon G10 which gives the Eos a good run for it's money
I couldnt be bothered lugging the Eos outfit around any more,I won't be carrying a tripod any more either.

Oil, brake fluid, filters, etc did complete major service on Transit. Replaced tungsten halogen lamps with LEDs. Bought and fitted new Heki 600x600 roof vent on Luton to replace existing damaged one on recent trip to Espana, plus new 110A leisure battery purchased from Le Clerc Bologne.

Bob:thumb:

A yoga mat for 50p from a car boot sale to use as anti-slip flooring in the camper's underseat lockers. As a bonus the nice bag it came in will do nicely for our camping stools! :thumb:

Some scratch remover for plastic materials. Used it on the windows that didn't like getting "that" close to a hedge and it did the trick. Scratch gone as well as the £8 but well worth it:Smile:

This week I bought some,

I bought some pleated blinds that draw to the middle for my new to us Rapido and wouldn't you know it the reversing camera stopped working today :Eek!:
So bought a 7" High resolution monitor, a twin lens camera for reverse and rear view with Sony CCD sensors and 15 metres of cables all delivered for £174 and as luck would have it it's a company in Leeds a good £35 cheaper than the competition.:thumb: Link Removed
