THIS week I bought

Couple of bits for the new van. Bought it three months ago and then promptly went away to work. Arrived home again last week so we're just getting it to how we want it., the clock just turned past 400 miles today!
Bought two "silent night" memory foam topper mattresses to boost the existing...they're in the post.
Also bought Silver Screens, ramps and cable connections to hook up an additional leisure battery.
I've a week to get it all together, booked on the Rownhill C&C site in York for next weekend, first trip away in it!

I Have just brought a Heating defrost element for my water tank. An option on many models, at £299 however, a quick chat with CAK tanks and there they were advising me, selling me the product and giving me great advice on fitting it for £76-00. No water freezing for me this ski trip.:thumb:

Hubby has been after some lightweight short welly-type boots for while for when he walks the dogs at shows etc in the wet grass, but to no avail. Then the other day we were in a charity shop in Beverley and I spotted some Franshams thermal muck boots, new in his size for £5.99! :thumb:

They are apparently very comfy and snug so no excuse for not going out with them now!!!:Rofl1:

This is a really nice van Andy and it is immaculate. I had the pleasure of being parked next to Carol the other New Year.

A bargain.

Today actually - we went to Morley for a wee walk round since the kids are all away and we had the afternoon to ourselves, apart from 3 dogs. So I bought, among other things, two rolls of Christmas paper in a charity shop. Sadly, I have never seen so many charity shops in one place, frequently duplicated. Scope, Shelter, Arthritis (UK), Age UK, RSPCA, PDSA. A once thriving town looked really sad and down-at-heel.

 I bought a new pair of boots that were in a sale at half price....... :thumb:

I bought a Dodge Ram and a Holiday Rambler 31ft trailer.

An ACER laptop for Eddi 15" LED screen, 6gb ram, 1 TB HDD, 1 gb video ram W7 - £580. Saw lots of W8 laptops but with the software Edd uses for work, not prepared to risk W8.

I purchased some Fiama awning tie down straps & a rear cycle carrier in 'Bailey blue' from the NEC last weekend. Just got to suss out how to fit it now

Samsung windows 8 laptop, combined birthday /Xmas pressie for son, it switches between W8 and normal windows easily.

2 and a half years supply of razor blades for just £10.99

110 Russian made gillette 7' O'Clocks from http://www.shaving-shack.com. :thumb: A great deal.

A much closer shave than all those 3,4,5 bladed triumphs of marketing where you're duped into buying blades that cost a fiver each:Eeek:

Dvd Prometheus. Lt is rubbish.

Grimm Tales for young and old..........by Philip Pullman........for my lovely wife :loveyou:

Another box of plasters to stick on my cuts.. Working on a bike that has stood rotting for many years ( nut and bolt rebuild )..
It is not the spanner work that is causing the issue ( been on the spanners long enough to know how to use 'em  ) it is trying to get big hands in tiny gaps that are surrounded by sharp rotting edges !!

A Bailey Ranger 500/5 caravan.

Well, some one has to.

I have a couple of hundred holes to drill in bison slabs and there's no suspended ceiling going in so they all have to be in the right place

Quite simple really honest!
mark it out on the floor and use the spot laser to transfer the drill points to the ceiling :thumb:
