This old shed turned up, slumming it I suppose.

9.4 ton, I guess the Morelo is a lot more.
Any reason slides aren't more common on vans like Morelo concord and the like?

The Morelo will (should) be under 7500kg, it's on the IVECO daily chassis, tight on payload with a car in though.

They do look like buses but I call them the posh monster vans

They are proper motorhomes ,homes with a motor.

If the people inside are nice no matter what it is its a lovely van

:giggle:

Hi olley sorry I didn't answer question "Any reason slides aren't more common on vans like Morelo concord and the like?"

I think it's mainly down to weight and possibly personal preference, as far as weight goes most of these vans are running on the IVECO daily so have a 7500kg limit which fits with most of our licences, as soon as you add a slide it takes the Mass in Running Order very close to the 7500kg limit and Morelo got themselves into a bit of bother with customers a few years ago by building big van's with slides and all the toys but no payload so they now only offer slides on truck chassis so you need a test for C licence. Again most Morelo and Concorde are garage versions (side loading scooter or rear loading car) so this would make it very difficult to fit a bedroom slide I think. Then finally I don't think the slide out lounge area works for everybody and we certainly wouldn't bother with the option even if I took my C test and could drive it.

#$%$₩ing thing's, every other vans one down here in southern France at St Marie de la Mer!!
