The Spanish Job - message for those that are coming!!

Happy New Year to all the Funsters. Apologies for complete lack of posts since we've been back in the UK. The festive period has flown! Sounds like the funsters have been having a great time in Spain.

We'll be arriving in Calais on Tuesday and will be heading south to join you. I've worked out a rough route with stops and think we'll get to San Jose in 5-7 days depending on whether Dave needs any days off from driving. :Smile:

Really looking forward to getting on the road again after a month in one place!

Got to call in to my sister for a wee while but will be catching the 10 am ferry on Sunday

Better make it a priest with pointy hat and posh frock.

Thanks Marie and everyone else who was so friendly. Hope Gordon and Mary got our acsi book ok as they 'swopped' to let us get away!
We have been offline for a few days, wandering in the mountains! We visited Trevosky and his flamingos and donkeys for three nights, staying at a very expensive site (for what it had to offer) close to the village, then we spent a night at a site near Granada, but though the site was fine, the area was depressingly urban so we went to Orgiva which was an experience! Despite luke-warm showers and none-functioning wifi, it was a lovely place. Today we came down the mountains to the beach and are now at Playa De Poniente near Motril where we're going to stay for a month I think to get the cheaper rate. Hope the weather's still fine for you and the caterpillars are retreating! Best of luck all. regards Joy & Tim:thumb:
