Canakkale, Dardanelles seafront.

The funniest thing to watch is the dogs use the pedestrian crossings to cross the road... and the cars stop for them.

Right then

I phoned the motorhome caravan specialist place in pontyclun this morning. They could fit me in tomorrow morning too , I can stay overnight in their yard. To do the fluid change they want £120 plus vat so £144 all in

Phoned back the m&m garages , will have to hang about there a bit longer as he's going to squeeze me in between jobs when a lorry comes off the ramp he'll put mine on . I can stay in his yard tonight too. He says if just fluid change then about £72
That's probably plus vat but still a more attractive price for an hours labour and a couple of bottles of brake fluid.

I can just hang about in the van till he's ready to do it then walk the hounds.

Going to visit Caerphilly Castle today ... well outside of it anyway. Then I need to be at garage before 4pm if I want in the yard.

I got one especially for the van, some think it’s only for casseroles but you can put a chicken in it and by the end of the day it’s roasted, around 150w ….👍🏼
I asked the supermarket cashier how long can I chicken keep a chicken in a freezer, she said about 3 months....... load of bollocks.
I put one in the freezer last night and the fecking thing was dead this morning.... :Eeek:

Yes, but you quoted me............as well as him. 🤷‍♂️

Jock.
Slip of the thumbs jock . I was impressed it ran off a 300watt inverter though .

I've a waeco 300watt inverter fitted just now but considering fitting a 1000watt renogy one again.

Disappointed I didn't get the genny running properly as I was going to use that for microwave and an airfryer.

Mostly the price. In Europe I buy uht carton around €0.98 for 1 or under €6 for a pack of 6.

Here it's around £1.30 a carton and only 1 litre
Fresh milk is 4 pints for £2 or 2 pints for £1.55. So it makes sense to buy a 4 pint carton. I dislike shopping so I try to only do it once a week.

If I had an oven and grill lol I'd be having croissants or toast and wouldn't bother with milk at all.

But
The feckin fridge should be cold at the bottom lol.
If you see a Farmfoods pop in there as they do two 2 litre bottles for £2 total.

My wee TV Ariel meant for inside doesn't get a great signal inside this van must be too well insulated or something so I've to stick it out the skylight then I get great signal .

Enjoyed 6 hours of TV last night lol. TV, lights and 2 hours of heating and hot water and I used the most battery power so far in this ...

Drove 10 minutes round to Caerphilly Castle and battery now at 290ah lol.

I've got the drone controller and a couple of batteries on charge now hoping to use it to get pics of the castle as it has an impressive moat .

There's an flt spot on the road going past it with a not bad view of the castle itself.

Couple of neighbours lol

Inner wall is aluminium so another layer of screening, you will also find phone signal very poor with blinds drawn.

Would it be worth asking the garage about the genny while you’re there.
It's a truck repair garage I'm going to don't think they'd have a clue.

I might drop it out again in Spain or marroc when I've better weather . I'm certain it's something simple as it ran great the first time we fired it up and was working a fan and microwave on the 240v . It was only after me refitting it in the casing myself on its side that it then would not fire up.

When we dropped it out again it would fire up and idle if garry held the throttle off etc.

But because of the time and the weather it wasn't convenient to keep messing with it.

I'll be parked up a wee while in tafroute when getting the paintwork done so will have plenty time then to have a look at it if not before

Phone hasn't been too bad , I had bad signal in Cornwall but so did garry its just how it was . But no probs since I left.

I'd thought about sticking the wee Ariel on the roof permanently as I could put wires up through the permanent vent above wardrobe. But its maybe better just to keep sticking it through skylight when I need it.

Tam I would personally buy at least 1500w inverter as most electrical cooking items are 1200- 1500w ( I know you can get 900w air fryers) we use a halogen oven and have done for the last 10yrs and that’s 1400w the price difference isn’t too great. I think your be swearing if you brought a 1000w instead of going slightly higher
