Great for stews, mince & tatties, bolognese, curries, boiling ham/gammon joints, etc, etc, Tam.

We popped ours in the MH sink with a gammon joint in it (but in a roasting bag, ie, no water), just before leaving Southport one year, and ran it off the 300w inverter.
By the time we arrived at Stratford upon Avon, the joint was cooked ready to dive into.

I normally buy the 4 pint bottle.. £2 is what it says on the feckin receipt.


On Friday not wanting to waste half a bottle for a 3rd time I bought these 2 instead.

2 pint fresh milk , recieot said £1.55 , and a litre of uht as a back up , receipt said £1.30

I might dae a lot of daft stuff but I'm not bored enough to make up milk prices.

I resented paying £1.55 for 2 pints when 4 was only 45p more , but as I only use milk in cereal it would have gone to waste as I'd not use 4 pints in 3 or 4 days which is how long its been lasting In my fridge at present

Nice pot of home made lentil and veg soup today.

Bowl for lunch and 3 more portions for the next few days

Seems to be a day for motorhome covers , I've 2 funsters interested . One in Sussex one in Wales.. the fella from wales is meant to be collecting it this afternoon so I should have a bit more space in my garage.


Fitted the new lights in the garage and side locker this morning .

Tam your fridge I’ve put a new burner from Dometic they told me it is the latest version in Germany the fridge is now working OK -12 to -15 freezer +5 in the fridge I’ve put temp gauges in both.ref oven our smev is useless as an oven the casing doesn’t hold in the heat it’s only any good for plate warming.The air fryer oven 10 in 1or I think the later one would do you better it’s 1740 watts we haven’t got lithium still on 20 year old Gel Varna x4 80amp but will replace when funds allowView attachment 964431

I use mine everyday. It’s brilliant. I do myself boiled eggs every morning for breakfast, you can your toast in it too

Booked in Tuesday morning. But the guy who bought the cover gave me a number of a garage that specialises in motorhomes in pontyclun so I'll give them a call in the morning see what they say just in case.

It's not a big or expensive job so I don't expect to pay a lot to have it done.

I want the remap done this week too so om gonna phone them tomorrow too see if they're happy to meet me somewhere to do it .. possibly up at brecon .

They didn't. But to have a car brake fluid changed its between £40-60 , its less than an hours work and most are done with a machine nowadays . So I'm expecting £100 max .
