The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

🤮🤮🤮
Obviously you no taste for good food and wine

Only getting 25 out of my tiddler.
Blummin Eck, I averaged 28.7 going to Switzerland and Germany!!
Averaged 27.9 on my croatia trip and that’s a fair bit of time in the alps🤷‍♂️🤔🤔🤔

Oh and zero adblu, just like Tam😉🤪🤪🤪

Whilst taking up 3-4 spaces on a small aire !
Obviously first come first served but it is exasperating turning up at an aire and capacity has been halved because of monster motors . Some of them even have trailers !
Not me. Im usually parked tidier than most

I stopped checking mpg really as it becomes obsessive . Can't get anywhere without it so as long as its no ridiculously thirsty all will be well .

Be interesting to see if any difference before and after remapp

I'm expected 20/22 at best.
You are bang on the money there Tam, and ours is already chipped. (y) I rarely go over 60Mph (100Kph), and never get more than 22Mpg. The 5.5T 2.8TDi Fiat/Hymer consistently got 25Mpg when in touring mode across the water, but less here in the UK.

This one's 6 tonne and I think jocks is nearer 7 tonne .
It is Tam, but only because I up plated it to 6850Kgs, but normally running at 5850Kgs. Although the VIN plate says she's a 60C17 chassis, it's actually a 65C17 chassis, as is yours most likely.
When looking for spares, a 60C17 just doesn't appear, whereas a 65C17 does, having just bought (and had fitted today), an uprated alternator and new Delphi front pads which won't squeal..................hopefully. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Yeah mine is a 65c15 ... only 146bhp compared to your 170. But with remap it takes it up to 170.

65 = chassis weight 6.5/7tonne the c is twin wheeler and the 15 part is bhp

Moby was a 35c12 ..

Ours goes like a train. I remember coming back from Spain in her, shortly after buying her from Martin & Jen. On that A75 stretch then down past Millau and the Tarn Gorge area and back up, the only vehicles she didn't overtake on the windy uphill sections were cars. Everything else she just glided past, including a couple of Concorde Liners. :whatthe: I was well impressed. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Shall we start a guess the mileage thread? Are you back in the UK now, by the way?
Still heading south ferry back on 1st Nov.

I did find this one which would do if I can't get this one to work for now . If I can get someone to weld a bit pipe on it it'll be fine for a long time yet.

I used "every exhaust part" on eBay earlier this year, I sent them sketches of my mh exhaust and they fabricated the parts and sent them to me to build a custom SS system. Can recommend them.

Ps they made these for £110 including delivery which I thought was good value.

Its those steep windy mountain roads I'm concerned about really. A bit more torque up those would be much appreciated. Not had a van yet that went up those well lol. But will see how this one is
