The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

Tam.I don't know if you have same engine as my 2004 Fiat 2.8jtd.But I had the same problem. Red light on when Climbing inclines. Mine was a sticking wastegate. My mechanic loosened it off and every time I get it serviced he checks that it's still clear. Not had any issues since.
I believe they're similar but not the same.

But yes the waste gate is on my list of things to check in the engine. There's lots of possibilities.

Anyway around town the light didn't come on apart from one quite steep hill just before lpg garage. So we took it a wee blast up the a30 .. basically it comes on whenever you increase the demand for power and when it's no longer needed it goes off.
I had this issue on my RS Elysian, along with many others, anyhow lubbed the waistgate, used Winns turbo cleaner, still had the hill or asking for more power issue, into limp mode.

Removed the Turbo actuator and bought a cheap Chinese vac testing kit and found the part kaput, ordered new and job sorted, ok it was on a 3 litre Iveco but the principles the same.

Haven’t caught up for the last five pages so if someone’s already suggested it then my apologies.

Something like this £12

Finally a bit tidier. , all lights have now been changed to led bar the doglight in the bathroom as I can't figure out how it comes apart. Added new led strip lights around the cab area cupboards and a brighter led light under the centre cupboard too as there were no lights in the cab area at all. TV is now mounted in the cupboard above fridge. Can't plug it in yet as I'm waiting for power plugs in post. Fitted USB charge points in the old TV cupboard above the cab and a pair in the bedroom . New Teddy bear fleece throw for the sofa ( actually a single duvet cover which works perfectly credit to Just smiffy for the idea ) new non slip floor matts and all new doggy beds ... feels more homely now .

I'll put night mode pics with lights on later.
Still need to sort that skylight surround , once I've figured out how to wire the motor to a rocker switch to open it as the remote control electrics are knackered

Your van looks superb real quality

The fridge definitely looks the dogs doo dahs, looks like it was made for that space 👍
Well done, it's looking great
Yes the fridge is far nicer than the old one so it feels like an upgrade rather than a necessary change . So I'm pleased with that. Shame about the 240v but I will never use it anyway. It works on gas and 12v and it switches over automatically which for me is a bonus as I always forget to switch over manually.

And I like the colour of it.

Looking great tam. Love the colour matching tv. 👍
Yes thar was a fluke ... I bought that TV in 2021 when I sold the hymer , it was a gumtree purchase for £15 lol I've had it in the 2 caravans , the old iveco van I bought to do while I was building the vario, then the euramobil, moby and now this one . The fact it was blue was pure coincidence, or maybe it was fate that it ended up in this van.

I hadn’t realised that the fridge was a later variant than the original; result! 👍

Ian
Yes it's only 5 years old Ian.

So looks the part

All you would need is an electric window switch ,surely? Power on the centre & open /shut on opposite sides?

I think so ... its where I put the negative to Richard as the motor only has 2 wires coming out it. It originally went in to a circuit board which I'm by passing.

Fridge and freezer temps , not sure if thermometer is accurate . It still reads around 6° in fridge and around -8 in freezer . But it has frozen stuff. So I'm not sure .

actually a single duvet cover
Just make sure the fasteners are done up otherwise the doggies will soon find their way underneath it and you'll end up with a lumpy sofa! 😄 Our pooches are masters of getting into/under anything and we often have to search high and low for the little s*ds. :giggle:

You need a double pole changeover switch (DPCO) with centre off. It will have 6 terminals. Wire two end ones to 12v / 0v. Then wire those two terminals to the two at the other end with a cross. (Top left to bottom right and vice versa). Take the centre pair to the fan motor.
