The resurrection of Doc, bringing a 20 year old neismann Bischoff Flair back to life after 12 years off road.

Changed the tuning box to setting 5 this morning , definitely more oomph on take off , not been on any hills yet so will see how it fairs.

One last thing

I discovered how my b2b was only putting in 15amps to the battery ....the other 15 are running the fridge which is crap . So I turned b2b up to 40amps thinking id get 25amp to battery and 15 to fridge but its still only putting out 30amps

What am I doing wrong?

Input current only 30 amps?

I dont know anything about them but doesn't the input current limit have to be higher too?

I went to buy some cat and dog food the other day. The bags of dog food weighed 18 kilos, so it doesn't take many of them to add up some weight.
Fair enough . I just buy dog food on the road .

So do I, but changing dog food suddenly upsets their stomach's... so you mix it over a period of time.

Also 4 dogs go through a fair bit food and France is expensive. I've only 50kg of dog food 😆

I do however have 27 bottles of squash

Ye cannae find it in Europe

Only got the one dog and she isn't affected by change of food .
4 dogs is a different story .
My 6m PVC doesn't have a lot of space anyway .
p.s. fresh orange juice (zumo naranja) is available in most Spanish cafes .

I remember telling you when you were wiring the B2B that half the output would be directed to the fridge.

I thought that relay I fitted sorted that.

I think next year I'll be wiring in a separate relay for the fridge and uprating the alternator to a 150amp.

If I'm only getting 15-25amp in to the battery from the b2b I'd have been aswell leaving the split charge relay in instead.

It would have done had you put it in the correct wire the other side of the hab control unit.

No way, never advisable to use lithium without a B2B. Wiring wouldn't have coped and you might have burnt out your alternator. Also you would be relying on the BMS to stop charging when battery is full, not a good idea.
It's not just about charge current.

Already told him to turn it off if needed.
Driving with a fridge on gas is against construction & use regs.

Apparently not allowed to carry fuel on a ferry in containers either .

Now Doc has a diesel tank = plastic
A 20 litre petrol tank for generator =plastic

There's a plastic petrol tank on the scooter.

But you're not allowed to carry an empty or full petrol cannister...also plastic .

I don't get it.

I'm sure someone just makes up these rules for a laugh.
