The Joys of Benidorm!

I found benny to be dirty , smelly , noisy , and very tacky. Ideal for cheap booze , full english breakfasts and mcdonalds. Wasn't my thing at all . I thought id perhaps unfairly judged it the first time i visited so i returned a second time .....and confirmed it 😁

Blackpool with sun was my thoughts.

TBH this happens just once a year, and it can be avoided quite easily!

I have been to Benidorm several times, I know exactly what it is like, good and bad.
As far as I am concerned there is something seriously wrong with someone that thinks walking round wrapped in a Union Flag with a false dick protruding is fun.
 
Its amazin what length people will go to,
With Prosthetic Dicks, that is!;)
The more pictures like those I see, the more I would not wish to go there, even on a quiet day, even if its sunny, its just not funny!(n)
Each to their own, but I have seen more culture in a yoghurt pot.

No need to drive all that way to see idiots,,try most UK City centres on a Friday or Saturday night...BUSBY.
 
I have to say there is a lot more to Benidorm than Bar Street.
I think it’s wonderful but then each to their own I suppose.
In reality the people who don’t like it probably wouldn’t like me either not that we are likely to ever meet cos what they like I would probably have no interest in and would possibly be appalled 😂

We like Mazarron too, haven’t been there since our grandson was born-next year hopefully. We usually go down via Oliva, lovely little site right on the beach.

I agree, in the winter it's a perfect place for mature people to enjoy. Very safe, heavily policed and has perhaps the best medical facilities in the whole of Spain. Loads and loads of things to do and see within a stones throw and all supported by good transport links. The beach front bars are great to visit on a sunny afternoon and drunk 40 year old Brits misbehaving is a very rare sight. We look forward to re -visiting again.

Its all been stopped now, the police have clamped down on obscene images and similar ,none are allowed to be seen in the shop displays and I would expect that anyone wearing similar to the 2015 photo now would be heavily fined.(y)

Interesting piece of trivia about Benidorm, many years ago when it first got popular the sandy beach started to disappear, they thought is was sea erosion but it turned out that because of the high volume of people the sand was 'walking away' on peoples feet, in their shoes, on towels and in bags and clothes just thought that I would confirm to anyone who was unsure that I am full of absolutely useless information - unless your a student studying sea erosion
