I'm convinced Toby wants to go home

Sat here waiting on the water heater doing it's stuff so I can have a shower.
Hears this bang and the water trickling ...looks in boiler cupboard can't see anything but smells hot and fans going which it shouldn't be for just water heater...looks under van can't see anything.

Turns taps on and nothing ...No hot and no cold ...starts swearing thinking you have to be kidding me what now.

Decided to check tank make sure I have water ...opens flap running water sound coming from in there

Unscrew the cap where the pump goes and the hose has blown off the top of the pump and all the water pouring out the system in to tank.

If reconnected it and bled the taps ...hopefully it was just loose from when I replaced pump...

I've got the boiler on again

I really hope this isn't another problem or I'm going to scream cause it's not funny now.

Maybe you tempted fate with your first post this morning :(:)

Not around the lake?
Yeah but the lake is in the town ....sort of

Its very popular with joggers , walkers with sticks ( you know the serious walkers ) cyclists and doggy walkers.

Looks like it could be a (as opposed to 2) catfish. They grow pretty damn big :reel:
Certainly the biggest fish I've seen up close in fresh water ... loads of them too and you're allowed to fish here.

Might have a go tomorrow as I have 5 rods with me lol

  • A Carte Annuelle for an adult costs between €70 and €100 and between €10 to €20 for a minor.
  • There is also a special licence for women called Découverte Femme, which costs around €30.
  • You can also buy a fishing licence for holidays, called Carte Vacances which costs around €30 and which is valid for 7 consecutive days.

Who knew you needed a licence for women ....... maybe that’s where I’ve been going wrong all these years ;)

I wanted to fish for crayfish in France , I though I could just put in some traps out at night and end up with a pot of crayfish, traps cost £5 but you still need a license, I was thinking just put them out at night & no one would see me , then I found out that the fines for not having a license can be €3000 , they might be cat fish BUT caught fishing for them without a license & they will be dear fish

Don't think I'll bother lol

OK I LIED it’s €22,500 in France

For example in the UK you can be fined up to £2,500 (GBP) for fishing without a rod licence. In Germany you can be fined up to 22.500,- € and in France you can be fined up to 22.500,- € (see here) for fishing without a rod licence or breaking the fishing regulations. Furthermore, by braking the German fishing regulations you are risking up to 2 years of imprisonment.

Makes Toby’s spending look cheap

What kind of God forsaken country am I in

They have crisps that are peanut flavoured

What kind of nonsense is that

Don’t think anybody said it was

You must also respect the hours permitted for fishing during the day, which is normally half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset. Accordingly, night fishing is generally not permitted, but with exceptions.
