Has anyone tried buying foreign currency at the minute as im having a problem getting some.
3 different travel agents ive phoned round here and none are doing it.

I use my credit card mostly but I do like to have a petty cash fund for those things I can't use card for

Trying to avoid that as I get free currency exchange with my credit card but I get charged for cash withdrawals so I usually take a wee stash of euros with me

Latterly I've used No1 currency. We have an office in town but I think they do a delivery service too.

Usually a fairly decent rate from the Post Office but it depends on how much you want to buy. The online rate is better than going to the local office.

I always use Debenhams, they always seem to give a good rate when i look.

We have a Monzo card each that we pre load and can withdraw £250 a month without charge when abroad.

My wife ordered some from the post office in Accrington, might not be local to you but we were going there to get my new bike.

Purchase on line from Tesco. Collect or they will deliver. Alternatively if you are able to get to a John Lewis store with a foreign exchange counter we have always found them to offer the best rate.

Not a great rate only 1.09 unless over £1k then 1.10 but don't think I'll need that much in cash this time as will be trying to avoid any contact.

Found 1000 quid worth in our safe (they weren't lost but forgot to take them last year) receipt with them 1.16 so that was a result..BUSBY.

Yes I finish up work Sunday the 13th and plan to leave here on Tuesday 15th ....probably stop over 2 nights on my way south tunnel o
