So people who pay more attention to the changing rules regarding travel after the transition period.

If I'm heading off in September and hoping to do Italy and Greece and possibly Albania montenegro and Croatia this time and return end of march do I need to do anything regarding the vets for the dogs other than make sure their vaccinations are up to date and the usual worming on return?

Is it worthwhile me getting their passports changed to UK ones ? And is it better to get this blood test thing done?

At the minute I've no concrete plans ...I'd like to do the above countries as I'd planned last year but didn't do it.

But if things are still no good in those countries I may end up doing Spain Portugal again and therefore would perhaps try Morocco too.

But I really want to do greece and Croatia, dave n marsha that I met in Spain 2 years ago have been in greece since December and are now in Albania....the pics are making me jealous ...greece looked amazing with literally loads of wild camping.

So factual advice on vets appreciated.....still not registered with one here but thats not an issue

But milo now due all his shots and as jade rabies expires in November again I'm wondering if British passport better.

You will love Greece, I don't think you will be impressed with Croatia.

To be on the safe side I'd have the "titre tests" done for both .not cheap but if you go to Morocco you would need it to get them back in to Spain/europe again anyway.

Agree, as you seem to like miles of long sandy beaches for walks.
I liked Croatia for the swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear water, less sand = clear water (y)
Is Croatia not supposed to be really good for old architecture though?

Bulgaria is also a possibility

Yeah thats what I was thinking......BUT as much as I love Spain I would like to see Greece this time and I may well spend 3 or 4 months there as its quite big so not sure if I would need the title tests done

It does have some good historic sites and lovely National Parks and scenery.
I love the place and am looking forward to going back.
What it doesn`t have though is miles of sandy beaches, the coast is mostly rocky with man made beaches.
It does have a lot to offer, just different from Spain

I loved Croatia but wild camping is illegal but campsites are cheep dependant on season....
Yes Croatia was great but “dependent on season” is an understatement. The sites sometimes go from €18 In June to €54 In July/Aug.....and don’t buy a beer in Dubrovnik !

If you like looking at buildings with bullet holes. :ROFLMAO:

We only managed 2 nights wilding, the small Auto Camper stops were about £10.
Didn't think much of the beaches where the Russians had poured concert all over the shingle, landscape along the coast similar to mainland Greece. Inland is quite pleasant if you ignore all the buildings riddled with bullet holes.

Park4night has literally hundreds of stops listed for Croatia aswell .....lots with dozens of reviews so while they may not like it there's certainly folk doing it .View attachment 403573
Hmm...that’s interesting. I never saw anyone wild camping but then probably wasn’t looking. I was well out of season so used the camping sites as they were cheap and nicely located on beach. It would certainly be worth wild camping in July and August although suspect authorities would frown on that even more. Lovely though Croatia was I always had a feeling that they were making up for lost time in getting the tourist dollar especially in July & August. Rest of the year it’s cheap although getting more expensive each year.

And watch out for the ripoff €300 on the spot non vignette fine if going via Slovenia...mentioned it before and will keep mentioning it ☹ Don’t think I will ever get over it.

We never noticed anyone wilding either.
