Ok so I have run a new cable from the batteries direct to the heater.

No point checking it just now as it's sunny and my batteries are up at 13.7v so the heater woukd run ok regardless.

I'll swap the power source over later and see how that goes.

There's a funster parked up here I think his name is sonny
He's been having a chat he's in a fairly new swift and has had probs with his van so I can't complain really

When it comes on it sounds and blows far louder than when on Electricty.I tried elec,and hot water,I also tried hot water with Gas..All OKAY. I tried the gas heating about 6 times and it continued to shut down after 15/25 MINS and red light showing.
It seams to be cured now...I turned the temp gauge down after about 10/15 mins to around 5/7 SETTINGS AND THE SYSTEM CHANGED FROM BLOWING FAST TO A SLOW NICE WARM AIR FLOW.

Doesn't sound like the same problem , mine was certainly not louder and it would shut down as soon as the fan got up to speed , it would turn slowly while heater warmed up and then it would start to get faster but click off almost straight away.

Definately a fault in the ebl somewhere on mine
