Aye some of them don't look very secure but I suppose the landscape and surrounding buildings have changed on many over the years ...others I guess are just for show.
Some of the most secure ones tend to be the not so pretty.

Which one are you referring to ? The triangular one
Caerlaverock ?

Beautiful coastline tam , where is it ? , I’ve been recording the positions incase I ever get the chance to visit them , KD

Not entirely sure I'm heading towards France..in Santander at the minute .
I plan to be home mid to late November but have around 6 stops to make in England....

No set plan as yet

Well I'm still in Santander...and I'm kind of stuck:(
It hasn t stopped raining since through the night on Friday and it's torrential at times .

Went to bed last night and got woken up 2.45 soaking

The new skylight I fitted back in May is leaking, the sealant I had to buy at the time I knew was shit and planned to remove and reseal when home with good stuff

It's coming in pretty bad ...sleeping bag got soaked so I had to sleep in dropdown bed which was a joy

So it's pouring down and looks like it's on all day ....rooflight is leaking with a constant drip ...So have a basin on bed under it

Can't really move as it will leak more and van will get soaked and I can't remove and reseal it in the rain ?

Can’t you put van on ramps so water runs away from roof light.

HI Tam

That might be my old van. I had an Ace, 9 metres, with a funster sticker. I sold it to a guy who used it to travel round go karting tracks, because his son was a competitor. Nice van, but rubbish insulation, and even on LPG not great fuel consumption. KIng size bed with built in wardrobes and dressing table was pretty cool though. Not to mention the outside TV. It was on a 2013 plate.

You might find it stops if you move because the wind of your passage (pardon the expression) will blow the water off the roof.
