Northernraider Tam, when we were in Cartagena in 2019 I saw “warrior priests” from the Order of Santiago near that statue. They were based at the Military Academy facing the harbour. I later read that they are Knights and Novices. They wore habits with swords

Morning walkies around cartagena , the architecture in this city is lovely , very venetian but there's a few different influences , their doing a grand job restoring the old theatre too , its changed a lot since I was here last. The huge cruise liner that was in the harbour yesterday has gone this morning. The street art is also outstanding. There was someone playing the violin outside the town hall this morning and kids singing Christmas songs too , quite the atmosphere

Have you been to Seville Tam? I'm sure you have but the architecture is awesome and also Cordoba, another stunning city, probably my 2 favourite Spanish cities

I have yes , seville is one of my favourites , not many places I didn't do between 2018 and 2019. Although I've never been to Madrid...looks to big for me.

OK well I've just heard from the vet , and it's good and bad news unfortunately. As I suspected jade and milo have passed the blood tests but ela has not, she only has 0.2 which is not enough. So she needs another vaccine and then wait 30 days before another blood test and then another week which would then be the end of January nearly before I got results. I need to do this anyway as I need the tests for any future travel but I don't know if I can then go to Morocco and maybe just spend a little less time or what I don't know. But I need to take her back to mazarron tomorrow for another vaccine anyway

That was a bit unlucky Tam but not the end of the world, everything happens for a reason and the 30 day interlude won't be long going in and at least your in a bit of heat

Nah I couldn't leave her behind anyway .

Not got the sim yet but the shop is opposite the vets so I can sort that tomorrow.

Wish the bloody vet had phoned yesterday when I was still in mazarron. I feel like a yoyo all this going back and forth . And I'm not staying up here for another 30 days either so I'll have to come back up again .

What a pain in the ass. I could kick myself for not thinking ahead and getting ela another rabies shot when I was In Ireland.

Aye its just a pain going up and down the country . Might be better just having her blood test redone further south . . Not sure if that would be an issue or not as I assume the vet will charge me again anyway

So she can get jabbed tomorrow and retested 18th January with a possible 7 to 10 days result wait takes you to 25th 28th January or so... not the end of the world still gives you a couple of months in Morocco until start of April I say feck it just go for it mate, I'll be over there until April too

Yeah it's not impossible, but it might mean I have to go over to Morocco on my own which makes me nervous. But will see .

I might just drive back to mazarron this afternoon and get the vaccine done today

I thought it only needed 21 days but vet says 30

Yea I think it's 30 days it's to let the vaccine get to work properly you won't be on your own coming over there's motorhomers leaving every day and who knows I'll probably be still fecking about Southern Spain by the time I get my Mrs out of the cheap booze shops in Gibraltar!
