I bought a Vodaphone 100gb sim for 15euros which lasted a month in Spain. Worked really well.

Yeah I reduce them all to 40% these days. But I have a lot of social media so I get through a gb a day most days

English spoken,they answer the phone and if you take out a plan you can put it on hold until you need it again.
l have one in iPhone and one in iPad and they work fine in U.K. also.

Don't go too mad Tam especially if things go OK for the pups and you do get to Morocco for a couple of month's as any sim you buy won't be any use to you out in Morocco, you'll need to get a Moroccan sim (everybody does) data is dirt cheap out there so you'll be fine and your Moroccan sim lasts for years & any data etc you left will still be on (you just reactivate once you revisit)

Aye but I still need one for the next month really. I've used half my phone data already which doesn't refresh till 4th January. If its pay as you go it won't matter anyway .

That's handy with Morocco as I did wonder about that.

You probably know this Tam, but there is a huge market on Sunday, about 2-300 yards from where you stayed last night.
Our favourite stall is the roast chicken stall. Probably gone up a bit since our last visit but you got a full roast chicken, roast potatoes, baguette and gravy for about €10. Used to do the two of us two meals!

Watch out for pickpockets though!

I used to find a seat and watch the antics on the €1 & €2 'ratchy' stalls where dozens of bags of second hand clothing are emptied on to the trestles and it's like a scrum as they are 'methodically' sorted by the shoppers.

Arms and elbows everywhere with the normal quiet ambiance that Spanish shoppers enjoy

No they are still there , about 80 vans ..like a ghetto . I'm on a wee bit by the road but only 6 vans and I'm away from the hoard lol . Nice wee vw parked next to me now

Afternoon walkies in la azohia, found a carpark that wasn't teaming with motorhomes, had a walk up to the old tower on the hill , nice views of the bay , I'll have one night here. Passed a lovely old beer truck bar that was just packing up . Came back to the van and I've a lovely restored early bay vw camper parked next to me .

They usually have a Sales Person that rocks up at somewhere there are lots of Brits, Sunday Market, English Papershop/Parcel
shop and sign you up there and then,give you the sim and within 24hours it’s connected.
look in a English Free Paper or Facebook Lobster and the offers come up on their page.

Hola Buenos tardes sènor y sènora.

We had a nice walk from La azohia to isla plana this morning so got In 12000 steps 9km on our first walk of the day ...( help to burn off the whole packet of wafer biscuits I demolished last night while watching 2 movies lol ) and then after a brief stop at a water tap on the steep windy road to cartagena we've now arrived near the old town in cartagena, I've returned to a carpark I stayed at the last time I was here but it's packed and there's a guerrilla that looks like he's just been released from barlinnie trying to accost people for money ...so I've parked on the street next to it. I may or may not move in to the carpark later tonight but where I am will do for now . Just having some lunch then we can go out and explore .

Passed a scooter boy crew on the way back, many of which were wearing the old mod long green coats with targets on the back lol .. like a blast from the 80's
