Tam n pups winter trip 2022

I've got to the point now my head hurts from looking at places nearby to go park , it will be dark soon and to be honest I can't be bothered moving so I'm just going to stay here in the ghetto tonight . Jackie is near lorca I believe so we will meet up somewhere tomorrow and find a place to park up tomorrow night. It looks like you can no longer park at the bolnuevo errosions which was near Puerto mazarron which is a shame, but judging by other spots it would likely have been mobbed anyway . I'm surprised that la azohia seems to still be allowing park ups
We stayed at that IKEA place a couple of years back and it was like Billy Smarts Circus! Lol Shopping centre was good though the Mrs bought a bottle of gin bigger than her 😂

Aye there must be at a guess around 100 vans here , there's at least 30 outwith the aire itself

I did get a few pics on our morning walk around moraira again this morning at least , it was a lovely sunny day again , got quite warm too , I do like all these wee statues and sculptures you see around the towns but I bet there will be literally hundreds of pics out there of this statue being abused lol . Had I a camera operator I'd have a few funny ones myself 🤣🤣

@northenraider have you seen this vario on ebay just been reduced by 2k 115628466232
Yeah I seen it a while back. Same as the one I've got but not as close to being tax and mot excempt. I'm surprised it didn't sell before though. There's quite a nice one on at 12k ..Been painted etc just needs an interior

Tam what ta feck is that???
Kept watching to see if Ken pops up looking for Barbie!
You'd be better towing that LHD Vantage up at mates scappy...... lolView attachment 694394
I'm no planning to tow a car lol , I've tried that it wasn't for me . But I thought at £9k new and it being electric for those who do want a car to take that's perfect ain't it .

Personally I'm sticking with a motorbike. If I do the vario I'm after a yamaha 600 dt/xt enduro for the back of it I think

And at the minute it's gonna be the vario or another 7 metre motorhome on a merc base I think .

This one's too big I want 7 metre max and I want a break from fiat's lol

43 miles ?? Is that it ?

Feck sake it must run on AAA batteries. Lol

And 28mph?

On second thoughts it looks cute but no thanks lol

Don't forget it's a holiday tomorrow. Vets might be emergency only. We're only 20 minutes from Camposol and many people from here use Happy Pets and recommend them.
On another note if you're around this time we might actually get a chance to say hello in person and you can meet the doggos. I'll be around and about this area till I get blood results back .

If I keep the merc 709 then something like this will be going on the back

And the Mrs again posing on a hired one she rented out in Cyprus or somewhere 👍

My local supermarket in any direction is around the 50mph dual carriageway ring road. I don’t think I would survive the journey in that, especially trying to get into right hand lane to turn right around the roundabouts.

I love harleys, more for the looks than anything else. I like my cruisers but not the easiest to carry on a van without towing a trailer or I'd have one.

I sold both my bikes in 2017 when I went fulltime and still miss them .

Aye I never realised the range or the maximum speed of them when I said they were ideal. Having found that out I retract that statement lol . I just thought they looked cute .

But sod that

Nice bikes 😁 yea they're not ideal for a motorhome as you say you'd need a trailer that fat boy is the weight of a car! 😂
Aye that's the problem. The wee scooter is handy but it's nae thrills and I quite like the versatility of an enduro for some of the places I like to park. That was also the thinking behind the vario. Even without 4 wheel drive it can access places you just wouldn't take a motorhome. I liked that with the old iveco I took to Greece last winter. Its just compromising on space a little but . But once again I've carried loads of stuff with me the last 3 months I've not used once . Like the outside chairs , tables etc etc .

Yes we found that too, after over 10 years in big 9 & 10 metre vans we decided to scale right down to do more off grid stuff in this wee van and sure if we don't like it we can always go back up again, but doubt it, they're too easy parked anywhere these wee yokes 😉

I saw on of those in the Citroen showroom last month

Only £8500 but then I looked at the range, 46 miles, even the salesman was laughing.

You would get some looks towing that about behind your van! Lol
I think it would probably tow the van better .

In fact why have you not got a caravan lol

Yeah the price seemed good going by today's car prices . But that's a ridiculous range. But then again if limited to 28mph you wouldn't want to drive any further lol

Would you believe I met a crowd of travellers parked up in Italy one time (seen my number plate and wanted to be my new besties lol) anyway 1 of them was towing a massive caravan with an Audi R8! Lol

I enjoy winding them all up in Europe with my sco plates...it keeps them guessing. A German couple stood outside my van yesterday debating for ages where they thought it was from . Eventually the woman googled it ...ah schottland she proclaimed and then , ...ah but es no official identifier.

My UK sticker , gb sticker and those hideous angle mort stickers are still in an envelope under the passenger seat lol .

You would have been better off with a blow up boat😁

I've been stocking up in the hyper Asia lol .. its a shame you can't take dogs in to try things on or they'd all have hoodie and coats 🤣🤣

Some may laugh but that was 5 collars and one lead and it cost £7.50 for the lot. I remember the last time I was in Spain thinking how cheap the dog stuff was. Elas collar in Greece cost €7 on its own and the lead was €15

I'll be buying a few spares too lol
