Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Still , things are looking positive for mine 😁 this might be 6 months newer but it has higher miles , and none of the additional equipment mine has

Looks tired inside that Tam, note the issue with a damp lower floor too.

Yours looks better!

I'm not sure he knows how to do it or he doesn't believe me about their vaccinations. But he isn't filling me with confidence.

OK I've spoke with Sharon who works with Sylvia and she gave me the name of a vet in mazarron happy pets who speaks good English. I phoned them and they can do the tests on Wednesday at 12.30
€160 per dog

He seems a lot more confident So I'm just going to head down there I think as I'm not sure nico is sure what he's doing

You are 20mins from the Vets in Xalo/Jalon
But I can't get them on the phone. And I would have to come back up here in 2 to 3 weeks to collect results then go back down south. So it makes sense just to drive down there and have the bloods taken and then spend 2 weeks travelling about before collecting the results.

I can't chill out and enjoy any time until the bloods have been taken

If Ela is, as She appears a Polish hound then they are considered a rare breed. There are some puppies for sale at £850 so it looks like you got a bargain.
I believe she's a transylvanian/Hungarian hound, but will never know really.

Just spoke with Jackie too and she's just leaving Malaga heading up to meet me so we will meet up around murcia region somewhere tomorrow and she'll come to vets with me on Wednesday which will make things a bit easier with 3 dogs.

Just going to have some lunch then I'll head off and find a spot around half way for tonight

I thought you said she was a right fe*king pain in the arse when you took her for walks in the dunes….😆😎

That might explain the disappearing and not coming back ... the 'vampire' half of her wants to go off and find 'victims' to bite but she obviously doesn't have the 'homing' instinct of a bat! :giggle:

€160/dog - is that what you expected?
How long are these titre tests valid for?
They last the lifetime of the dog. It's expensive but if I want to travel to Morocco this year and Turkey in the future without problems it's a necessary evil unfortunately

I was quoted €930 in Ireland, so it could be worse lol

Hi Tam
I can vouch for Happy Pets they are fantastic, they tried everything to save our oldest Beardie Maddie last month when she collapsed whilst we were staying in the area. The one in Puerto Mazarron is a small satellite branch, there is parking on the retail park across the road. However, their main surgery is about 6 miles inland in a little British colony called Campasol, there is a huge bit of wasteland you could stay on right next door I think it is on P4N.
What treatment we had done would have cost at least £3-4k in the UK, Just under £1k there.

You had better stock up on booze then.

That's great news Tam
Yea that other boy looks like a fecking edjit lol

I'm down in murcia now , well just outside it at that huge aire at thadar ....jees it's more of a ghetto than it was last time lol . It's jam packed and overspilled in to the other carparks , the usual suspects that look like they've been here weeks/months

I only came here because its Easy off the motorway and because it has a massive hyper Asia shop which is usually great fir getting dogs collars and leads etc and I'm needing to get my lot a few new ones . Sadly though they don't have any nice ones for jade and ela . Can't find her an orange collar to match her orange harness anywhere so far .

I'm now desperately looking around park4night to see somewhere close by that's nicer to stay at tonight than here .

Is that the one by the Ikea? I've only stopped there for shopping & service.
Aye that's all I came for too. Just trying to decide where to go park .

Don't forget it's a holiday tomorrow. Vets might be emergency only. We're only 20 minutes from Camposol and many people from here use Happy Pets and recommend them.

I've an appointment booked for vet for Wednesday 12.30. They're closed tomorrow and Thursday he said

I've got to the point now my head hurts from looking at places nearby to go park , it will be dark soon and to be honest I can't be bothered moving so I'm just going to stay here in the ghetto tonight . Jackie is near lorca I believe so we will meet up somewhere tomorrow and find a place to park up tomorrow night. It looks like you can no longer park at the bolnuevo errosions which was near Puerto mazarron which is a shame, but judging by other spots it would likely have been mobbed anyway . I'm surprised that la azohia seems to still be allowing park ups

Tam have you seen this vario on ebay just been reduced by 2k 115628466232

We stayed near IKEA the night before I had my wrist operated on. It was surprisingly quiet even though I wasn't able to sleep very well with a broken wrist.

Murcia, as a whole, and before that Mazarron separately, have passed new regulations limiting parking of motorhomes. So far they haven't acted on it.
