Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Forgot to say Tam when I was up at my mates scrapyard he showed me this....

We're at Cazorla at the moment and, so far, have avoided rain. It's not a place to be when precipitation arrives, at this time of year, cos it may fall as white stuff!!

Never made it up to the church , firstly because we got lost and took 2 different wrong turns and then because ela started to limp badly and I can't see anything obvious wrong with her foot , and then to make things worse jealous George aka Milo was so busy trying to muscle in on the attention ela was getting I stood on his back foot and now he is bleeding from one of his claws 😥 anyone looking would think I mistreat my dogs , two of them limping along .

So I've had to put a home made tissue dressing on milo and I still can't see what's wrong with ela . If this vet comes today god knows what he will think .
 
Jees I'm having one of those days 😭

So we moved on this morning , I tried to get in to the mercadonna at cullera but they have changed al, the carpark with nothing beforehand to tell you so I drove in and was confronted with a barrier ,,theyve also added sun protection to the carpark so not being able to go through the barrier I had to do a very complicated 10 point turn between the carpark spaces with canopies nearly hitting the van , of course it had to be a one way system didn't it so there I am facing the wrong way between 2 canopies with inches to spare either side and 2 Spanish drivers who seem to not understand or not sympathise with the situation, I'm trying to signal to them that I have no where to go but out the way I came in and the front one just keeps waving his arms and pointing to the one way sign, so I got out and went to his window and tried to explain in mixed English and spanish that I could not fit through barrier and the road through the canopies was too tight , eventually he gives in and reluctantly moves his car so i can drive back the 50 yards or so to the road , i then gave up on mercadonna but needed diesel so went in to repsol and filled up , went in to shop to pay..... .as I went in the repsol woman went out speaking fast Spanish as she went , there was a guy with a gas bottle outside so assumed she went to help him , so I'm standing at the counter , 5 minutes went past and she still not back , by this time 2 more people came in to pay the one behind starts waving his arms and speaks loads of Spanish I never understood , I tried to tell him she was outside and both him and the guy behind start shouting back n forth flapping arms pacing about etc .....god knows what's happened the last few years but so many impatient panicky Spaniards, eventually she came back after at least 15 minutes and the impatient sod behind starts yelling at her barges infront pays and buggers off , my this point I've steam coming out my ears , anyway paid the fuel got out , drove the wrong bloody way out the petrol station causing chaos and gets back on the road following the first set of coordinates bobandjanie gave me only unbeknown to me I've put West instead of east in the feckin satnav. Anyway 90 minutes later I'm in the middle of a small village in the bloody hills and of course it being lycra clad loony day thats an experience in itself , at one point I was climbing a hill in first gear behind one set of idiots, when I finally got a chance to pull out to pass them I nearly had a head on with another group of 10 or so riding 3 abreast speeding down the hill round a bend , they narrowly escaped hitting the front of the van and I nearly hit the others swerving back in to avoid them, frankly the swines are dangerous and I'm baffled how the roads arent covered in dead cyclist's. Anyway having by now realised something isnt right with the coordinates I had to stop and program in somewhere of psrk4night to get me to javea , and of course the satnav took me all the crazy wee narrow lanes through the farms and allotments. Finally parked up at the first set of coordinates bob gave me having lunch , not heard a peep from the vet , ela wont put weight on her paw and poor milo is licking his to death 🙄


And to top it off I've caught the bloody cold

The day can surely only get better
 
The only 2 positive things this morning were 1) coming through a small village this what can only be described as phenomenal bum in a ridiculously tight little black dress with an amazing set of legs wearing bright red high heels poured out of this black Porsche 911 ..I was so busy looking I nearly rear ended the car in front who was also looking , she was simply a vision from heaven with long Auburn hair down to her waist , there was not a person in that village not looking lol .

and number 2 ) There was this really cool old vintage truck by the side of the road that I had to do a u turn further down and go back to take photos

There's a lot of mercadona with canopies, its always easier to park outside, the trouble is the trolleys won't leave the premises, the one in Bennisa is tight getting in through the raised barriers, but does have a bit of outside parking, hope the day gets better. 😎 Bob.

Poor wee milos paw ....I feel really guilty but he's always flipping dancing about in front of my feet , I've lost count the number of times I've fell because of him , took a big chunk out my knee in monemvasia when I tripped over him and landed on the ground .

But he looks so sad 😞

I can't comment on her breasts as I never saw the front but that bum and legs in those bright red shoes were just amazing , and beautiful hair too. Didn't think much of the porshe lol but there were men getting slapped by their wives and girlfriends in the bar next to it lol ...

Went and parked up at mercadonna so we could have a walk/limp around the old town , didnt half get some funny looks in my t shirt n shades with two limping dogs , I remember this town from before too


Might go do my shopping now, still not heard from the vet . I think I'll have to phone him back
 
So I've finally been to mercadona, that's changed a little too but still my preferred supermarket in Spain. Bought 2 bottles of the red wine I like from there ...mostly so I can drive it around Europe for a few years like I've done with the bottles I bought in Greece last year lol

I took a few pics from the old town but not many , once again its like a ghost town.

I'm a bit concerned about elas foot as she's still limping quite bad and don't like to walk her too much on it , milo doesn't seem bothered about his so much now but they are always so keen to go out I feel bad not taking them but worried she's done something to hers ...but nothing visible .

Tried phoning vet but getting message saying phone switched off or currently out of range. Will have to try later as I'd like these tests sorted in the next day or two.
