Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Been for my ultrasound, sonogropher doesn't think its anything to worry about. But will send findings to doctor

To be honest they all say that but I’m sure you won’t worry about it too much and it’ll be refreshing when you get the good news from the doc’s…🤪😉

In my experience, the technicians don’t tell you if it’s bad news but don’t not tell you if it’s not bad news 🙃

My friend had an MRI urgent scan Friday is flying on Monday. She asked if it was safe to fly - there was a pause / yes go and enjoy your holiday! It was for ear area!

Never said no

I'm wondering why you would say that 🤷‍♂️ ?
Tam has enough to stress about without adding even scintilla of doubt.

My limited experience is that the technician says nothing at all

I’m wondering why you would just pick out the negative in my comment 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tam knows me enough on how he will see my comment….🍻🙂

The letter I got said the technician would not tell me anything so I hadn't expected him to say anything... but after he had checked he swung the monitor around so I could see it and he showed me the cyst on the right side I had checked the last time. Then he showed me the left and he said tumours were usually black and very noticeable on the screen and he didn't see anything there like that , he said the dark mass was likely to be a thickening of the epidermis possible caused by having had a vasectomy. He said he didn't see anything to cause concern.

I'm taking that as he probably does several of these every day so he probably knows the difference in one's that have been tumours and ones that haven't.. so I'm relieved at that
I'll probably get a call from doctors in the next few days

Sounds like the technician gave you some good info…👍🏼🙂

You are right it is their training to reassure and not to alarm patients at this stage(y) I am sure it will be good news Tam like the last time when it was a cyst.

In Mimizan France and saw this thought you would like it

I'm concerned that the cancer may have spread more though , perhaps in to the brain , or the drugs are starting to make her talk nonsense as some stuff she's saying isn't making a lot of sense , getting very confused at times some of which is funny but other times I've no idea what she's talking about .

She's reminiscing a lot too but some of what she's saying didn't happen so maybe it's mixed up with stuff she's read or seen on TV or something, one leg dragging real bad now too when she's walking, I literally have to move her right leg for her when going up or downstairs.

I'm on day and night-shift with her today as its my sisters anniversary so they're going out . Think I'll be knackered tomorrow lol

Does it really matter Tam, what she chatters on about?
Might be the drugs, might be her condition... but is it important right now?
As long as she's not in too much discomfort, as long as she knows you're there...

What a lovely picture. Your Mum looks happy and content. Not everyone at her stage in life is fortunate enough to have a loving son and daughter to care so much for them. It looks like you are doing a grand job.

It doesn't matter as such it's just hard to continue the conversation when I'm not understanding her, she doesn't let me off with just saying aye lol ...
