Tam n pups winter trip 2022

my guess is that the boss is on dads lap with a big smile on his face, he'll not be far away.. :)
and if not, why not, he's usually snuggled up to either you or his ladies..
.
He usually is that's why I wondered where he was but he'd made a nest down in the passenger door step

Coming along for the ride again on this one. Wild Atlantic Way at this time of year could be dramatic. Cant wait. Stay safe ....enjoy.

I can never keep up with the thread 😂 will follow on polar steps.

Safe journey Tam, we loved Ireland, 😁 never did much of northern Ireland after the giants causeway first night police telling me I couldn't park there, it felt very English £'s and mph. 😁

The biggest problem we found was disposing with rubbish, the only thing you see are litter bins with a small hole, 😜 you could burn yours after you cook your dinner. 😁

They are fitting these bins in France, I can see a problem before long, apparently they are doing the same where we live in Spain. 🙄🤔

That was the biggest problem we found in Ireland. Lidl normally have some big bins at the back of the car park or around the back of the building. Amenity tips charge to drive in but you can walk in for free.

I just get rid of my rubbish in small quantities as I produce it instead of waiting for a bag to fill. I've just been out with a soup can ,orange peel and a grape punnet to the bin. Never have much to be honest

Going to have a wee walk after breakfast then heading to Ayr as I need to do my shopping as I've had no car this week so not done it yet. Then I'm going to check out one of the only 2 remaining free park ups in Ayr and see if its any good for tonight. If not my next planned stop is in the Galloway forest which isn't the best for Internet signal but it's a nice wee spot I've stayed at before so it's worth it.

Looking forward to this trip he's not coming anywhere near me.

Possibility could see him in Spain.
Not to self: Leave tools for electrical repairs at home.
You're just a meany uncle lenny

You love seeing me really ....no one is fooled.
Happy to report all fine with electrics at present. But I am going to move that b2b switch at somepoint to the cab as I keep forgetting to switch it on and off .

Wonder if I could train milo to do it 🤔

Have a great trip Tam. Don't forget that it's often the roads that don't go anywhere that are the best.

We will keep it top secret, but are you going to try and stay in the van on the ferry:sleep:

We drove up from Newton Stewart towards Girvan a couple of weeks ago and used this B road. Very scenic and quite a few parking places. BUT the road is like a patchwork quilt with repairs.

Dont forget there is an Asda at Girvan to top up your stock of soup! (y)

This might be a bit modern for some of you lot.

But this is a lovely chill out background music to have breakfast to . Give it a try before dismissing.

Started off really nice & mellow then when the “singing” kicked in I nearly jumped out of me skin! 😂😂😂.

Well after loosing ela again in our morning walk ( bugger took herself in to a load of bushes chasing rabbits for 20 minutes and I couldn't get in there to get her) we finally got to asda in Ayr....shopping now done and stowed away ...that's it now no more stick piling that was £55 😱

So now heading to check out this free spot on the promenade...not sure we will stay but will see.

Failed to find that spot 3tonne access and couldn't find the alternative satnav is a determined bugger. So looking for another lunch stop at present

At night we stop in a dead end road at Ayr (Fairfield Road), it's nice and quiet and near to the grass for the dogs - been there many times now and just move to the front during the day into one of the MH spots. The only time it can be a bit noisy is on a Friday/Saturday night if they've got an event on in the hotel, if so then we just move down the street a bit away from it.

Before I left mum's I picked all the apples from our orchard 😉 ( one tree 😁) but had surprisingly a large crop.

I'll never eat all those I thought ....

So when life gives you apples..

Make apple 🥧 and apple turnovers 😛😋

So guess what I've been doing , now I'm not gonna say I'm a Baker...cause I'm better at eating cake than making cake but how hard can it be eh

Peeled a dozen apples, chopped in a pot with a tablespoon of sugar and a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon .... boiled it up for a bit to mix and soften .

Popped some shortcrust in a pie tin ...and some puff on a baking tray .. filled ( deep filled ) with stewed apple and cinnamon . Then in the oven for 20 minutes . The smell is amazing
