It's OK but still too pricey. By the time you put a quality interior in it you're in to a lot of money.I'm sure you've seen it, but I'm a bit gutted that the timing isn't right or I'd have this one. It's like new. I can;t see another one as good as this coming up in a while, BaseVan had an identical one not long ago but it wasn't as immaculate as this one.

YepEBay not very clever, just had ending soon email about that Euramobil we all reported
Don't worry about it. A few on here ignore me and I say good choice they made the right decision??
Ooh… someone has me on ignore, can’t see what you replied too…

Yep I've said for years that ebay is shit for sellers that's why I buy on ebay but sell on gumtree . I wouldn't put a van on there on an auction as you've zero rights as a seller. Mine is a classified advert with no bidding etc.Just catching up on this. Ebay do not care about sellers, they only support buyers. The fact that they take 10% off me for everything I sell really pisses me off, as they would not support me if I was conned by a buyer. If a buyer reported this guy they would have acted instantly
They are crawling out of the woodwork now.Anyone know who this Bellend is ? View attachment 749924View attachment 749925
Been shit for years I stopped selling on eBay 8 years ago I did a fair bit on there my feedback is around 29,000.Yep I've said for years that ebay is shit for sellers that's why I buy on ebay but sell on gumtree . Ebay is better than Facebook marketplace though! I do a gazebo at the motorhome shows, they are great value for what they cost but I don't send them out, too bulky for carriers. I thought I'd put some on Facebook Marketplace for the bank holiday weekends, pick up some local buyers - I reckon 80% of the responses were from scammers, it was like a magnet for them.Yep I've said for years that ebay is shit for sellers that's why I buy on ebay but sell on gumtree . Yes, but compared to £60k+ for a new Transporter that is almost certainly not as good for the job, I'd consider it. Mind you, I tend to keep my vans for a long time. It's OK but still too pricey. By the time you put a quality interior in it you're in to a lot of money.
Yeah that's true . My theory is off course these mercs are built to do big miles so having low mileage isn't important to me. So I'd rather spend less on a higher mileage one than pay 25k for a van of that vintage.Yes, but compared to £60k+ for a new Transporter that is almost certainly not as good for the job, I'd consider it. I'm not sure about that - if I've got my naff maths right, the Euromobil is about 30% more floorspace than the Vario - that's quite a lot.Interesting discovery today ..been measuring the vario against the euramobil . Inside from behind cab seats to the rear wall
Vario 4900mm
Euramobil 5600mm
Internal width wall to wall
Vario 1900mm
Euramobil 2160mm
There's not actually a great deal in it but it makes a crazy amount of difference
I make it 23% differenceI'm not sure about that - if I've got my naff maths right, the Euromobil is about 30% more floorspace than the Vario - that's quite a lot.
Always told to show my working for extra/some marks:
490 cms x 190 cms Vario = 93,100 sq cms
560 cms x 216 cms Euromobil = 120,960 sq cms
Is there a height difference too?
Yeah that's probably about right . There's a bit of height difference and of course the double floor space too .I'm not sure about that - if I've got my naff maths right, the Euromobil is about 30% more floorspace than the Vario - that's quite a lot.

The volume of a space increases by the cube of the increase in the linear dimensions. So if you double all the linear dimensions of length, width and height, the volume will increase 8-fold.Interesting discovery today ..been measuring the vario against the euramobil . That extra 26cm of width could make quite a difference though when trying to make a transverse bed ... 10 inches isn't to be sniffed at!Interesting discovery today ..been measuring the vario against the euramobil . Inside from behind cab seats to the rear wall

I'm not going to grow any taller though and there's already a transverse bed in it that I can sleep in no problem. The drop down bed in the euramobil doesn't go from wall to wall. It's at least 100-150mm away from it at both ends due to the mechanism etcThat extra 26cm of width could make quite a difference though when trying to make a transverse bed ... 10 inches isn't to be sniffed at!
So what is the actual length of the bed in the Eura? I assume you sleep either diagonally or 'folded' up a bit ... or like me whatever small section of the bed the ruddy dog will let me!I'm not going to grow any taller though and there's already a transverse bed in it that I can sleep in no problem.
