Ebay are very slow to act as its still live . I messaged the seller telling them to remove my description from their add and got a mostly incoherent response telling me to stop bitching lol .

So I reported the message also.

It's obviously a fake listing as they've spent so much time describing my van they've failed to mention many of the features that one has such as the ep levellers etc. I'm sure a genuine seller would have put more effort in

Reported it, when listing stuff on ebay using your own photos always watermark them or put a logo of some sort in the photo to make it difficult to copy it without showing it's been plagiarised.

He edited the description 2 days ago but only to state the solar kW was wrong.


But that barely scratches the surface of what's wrong with his add. It doesn't have half the stuff on mine so I hope no one gives him a deposit

Guys I'd appreciate for ebay members to report this add please as the seller has basically copied and pasted his description of it from my advert . Most of which does not apply to the van he may or may not have.

I've reported it myself but maybe if more do they will act quicker

Ebay must have now received around 20 reports on this item . I find it astounding that it's still up .

It's not met reserve fortunately but poor show on their behalf

I reported and also sent him a question asking if the fridge was only 240v he replied in very good English “ my son list of it and he did not know”

Even when I had a power seller account on eBay & I reported people using my photos it still took them 2 to 3 days before they took them down.

Aye its pathetic . I sincerely hope it doesn't meet reserve and no one pays a deposit . If he does have a van the listing is highly misleading but if that van does exsist it's a bargain at the price it's at.

I just can't understand why they would not write their own accurate description of it.

In other news I've had no interest in mine , I've 35 watchers probably all funsters lol. I'm not in a rush to sell really as I live in it BUT if it doesn't sell I can't build the merc and it's unlikely I will be going travelling next winter. I have savings of course but in the current climate I'm reluctant to dip in to those. I'm earning but probably won't earn enough between now and November to fund a long winter trip. I've no desire go sell the merc so I will tinker away with it meanwhile , I've been checking it over for mot etc and hope to do that next week sometime. Once motd I'd like to sort out the dvla stuff. As it's currently registered as a white van , plg 2900kg . None of which is correct. So I need to go through the process of having the colour changed, getting van with windows category , changed taxation to phgv and having the weights amended. Not sure how easy that's going to be I may have to phone dvsa and ask their advice .

It's been that way the last 5 years but it's not the correct way and I was very lucky last time when it broke down that I got recovered

Why not wait till the last 25 mins of the auction, (if its not taken down) and funsters start to bombard him with questions from the sublime to the ridiculous about the van, its use, etc etc? Just a thought
