Pics from azrou , the inside ones are from the guy I bought my throws/blankets from , Martin and Teresa bought 3 carpets from him too , very good prices compared to ones we've been told in other places. ...this guy supplies a lot of the tourist shops so we basically cut out the middle man .

I know they are not like the nice fluffed up ones we buy here. I love them, so do my dogs!! I once made the mistake of cold washing one thinking sheep don't shrink in the rain, so why would a sheepskin rug, but no it shrank and was knacked. Might sell it on Ebay for a dolls house

I’ve done the same..

I had mine a pair of doubles sent me by my then future husband from Australia for my 18th birthday plus a Koala and baby. Nearly 60 years later still have both beside our bed. They have been washed and combed in a bath as per instructions. Tbh we don’t have a bath any longer so not sure how we do it next time. Have to ask a neighbour I reckon. BUT you do need to dry slowly outside in GOOD weather.

it can be done. I also have a dark brown one bought on Skye in 80’s sitting in middle of my lounge. My grandchildren when little used to love lying on it.
