Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Have you ever had motorbikes Cap'n Paul? As I've found, and I know others the same, that those of us that are used to bikes often hate riding quads! They don't lean!!

I hate them - always feel like I'm going to crash in every corner or tip over if on a side slope - give me 2 wheels any day!

4 wheels are fine so long as a seat with a backrest and a steering wheel is part of the deal!

I like both actually, love my bikes but quads can do great things too

I did and still do! I've 3 Harleys at home now 2 1200 Sportsters (the Mrs owns them) and I've a 1360 Fat Boy but had bikes years ago 350 LC Yamahas and 400RD Yams & various other bits and bobs and of course the Vespa 300 (the flying banana) which I still have too but no big garage motorhome to put it in anymore! Lol but yes I know what you mean about the handling etc but I think I'd only use that quad for off road stuff (might'nt even buy it but if he threw in a wee quad trailer in the deal I'd be tempted! )

The quads are great fun there's a group of oap frenchies just went past here on them

So here's the deck chair bag boy out measuring up (fleece hoody & big coat on of course as it's freezing at 27° here at the minute! Lol) anyway he started off at 800 MAD (approx £63) but we struck a deal at 400 MAD after a lot of shouting and roaring 🗣🗣(around £30) so I got the deal I was after about a tenner a bag but they'll be custom made to measure and I've picked a real good strong fabric so I'm happy & he's happy (ish) lol results pics to follow (Tams gonna kill me crashing his blog again! Lol)

I can't see proper leather belts here . It's all bonded leather crap they claim is real leather lol. My mum ran a leather shop for 15 years I can spot fake or cheap leather a mile off

Spain has gone the same way used to get a lot of good cheap leather stuff, a lot of it now is a micro skin of leather on top of PVC.

Well it is still winter, years ago we had a guy visiting the sailing club from Ghana, we were in shorts and tee shirts he had a shirt, sweatshirt & jumper on and was shivering. He said I can't understand the English on the beach at home they are in swimming costumes at 8:30am, I don't take my overcoat off until its 110°F.

There were a couple of vanlifers on youtube that hit a donkey in their orange sprinter, it was fixed through a mercedes dealership to a good standard and cost, don't follow them and can't remember their names but it is possible.

I'll probably call in and have a wee look and see can I wangle a trailer for it out of the deal, and if so I might well buy it....Rosie just said "aye go ahead Paul that's more rubbish lying about the place at home we don't need!

I was meant to be riding the camel at 10 but they wandered off through the night and hassan can't find them we are heading back to zagora and then on to ouzatete today

I'm in Goulmima at the minute and was out last night watching as the locals started seeing the crescent moon rising signalling the beginning of Ramadan it was an amazing experience and the atmosphere was fantastic, can't wait to get out tonight and join the party lol out for a good munch then lots of shopping for bargains hopefully
Ps... still no sign of the deck chair bag boy this morning yet.... must of had a late night last night on the Berbers whiskey lol

As promised the Gucci luggage has arrived
Over the moon with the quality and work that's went into these bags for the deck chairs, the zips straps & handles all fitted perfect... Great job and for a tenner a go definitely a Maroc bargain, they're still out there to be had (that's me Tam, I'll not put no more on now for another wee while! )
