Incidentally Charlie I also find you a strange guy , I could count on one hand how often you reply or react to any posts on this thread. Anything positive you're nowhere to be found , soon as I post something you can be negative about you're right in there , and most of the time you're so far off the mark you're in a different country.

I didn't abandon Jackie. I've never once in 3 years drove off and abandoned Jackie. It has always been her who's gone off. Sometimes when I really could have done with the help or company. This time was no exception... and justifiably I'm a little fed up with it. That's several times now I've hung around waiting on her , helped out with her van etc etc.
I would say its been my experience with women throughout my life but I'm aware not all are the same . But my mother and friends have said it many times I'm a Soft touch at times and usually I just complain about it rather than do something about it.
But I'm generally quite happy travelling on my own I've done it since the start , I always manage. So I'm going to please myself for a change

If I was keeping all women at bay I'd never had spoke to Jackie and her friend in Greece in the first place, I certainly wouldn't have spent so much time travelling around with her over the last 3 years. But again I feel I need to point out Jackie and I are friends ....that's it , thee never has , is not now and never will be anything more than that between us , we are not involved in any other way whatsoever. When back in the UK I almost never hear from her , when I do message her on occasion I can wait weeks for a reply . When travelling she will go off do her own thing then when it suits her she will catch up. When in Spain had it not been the case she was waiting for her v5 that she forgot she'd most likely have crossed to Morocco without me while I was waiting on the vets etc. Then as she had to go back to UK for v5 she was worried about going to Morocco on her own so I waited in assilah for her etc. And she's now gone off again. I'm not her keeper but I'm also not responsible for her either so if she doesn't keep in touch I am not going to chase her up or pester her either.

As for the dogs we all know you view them differently Charlie, you've told us many times. But you know myself and most who follow this thread are dog lovers so you'll just have to grin and bare it .
anyway it's the last I will say on the subject.
I have never heard a Dog blowing in your ear moaning, sadly m they are rarely happy.

We watched this with great amusement in a few of the big cities in Morocco. The answer is simply 'no handbrake'
The parking guardians push up to a dozen cars a few inches each to make room to get in/out, and if hand brake is necessary they just pop a pebble under a tyre!

Yes I have to say it has got much much better the further south I've driven , actually see lots of gardeners and street cleaners but it may just be the places I'm stopping, still some very poor areas , the place I stopped to buy the tajine was very run down , trying to buy my fruit, veg and bread from these places instead of in the nicer towns , I think they need the custom more
