Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

Yes it does look home made & damage is a possibility.
I think I ll put up with the vibration, not been a problem do far
Thanks for the photo

What a lovely hat your mam has Tam, would love one of those but I think people would take the p1ss.

Please inform the hospital that there is no apostrophe in “nurses”.

Certainly not the last owner he was a bot thick
I did remember what you said about the guy you bought off, that’s why I just said a previous owner. The rest of the mirror looks to be original. Our first van was a 2002 B544 and the main mirror/bracket looks to be the same, if I remember correctly. We never experienced any problems with vibration in the five years that we had it. Did have the fifth gear go and also had a problem when it would go into limp mode (that was sorted easily, having been told what to look for).
Re the top bracket, I would remove and see if any vibration. If bad then I may re fit, but would prefer to revert back to original status. If removed then some small holes to fill, but easy to do.

Ill contact Harry Hill , put him on standby

Mums looking good Tam , hoping her recovery is quick.
Nor I love that hat!!

I’m a little unsure what your comment is supposed to mean.

Unless it’s to bait which is unpleasant.

Yes she looks good anthea...still in pain with her back though :( it's unfortunately 2 steps up 1 step back all the way but her knee is looking better and docs seem happy enough with progress

No Charlie it simply meant I didn't ask for your input on my valeting techniques yet your first post on my thread was condescending.
I chose not to respond to it in order to keep the peace. Your second post was equally condescending and you made the comment you were better not to say anything yet you still did.
Hence my post saying try harder as in try harder not to say anything.
I don't have to agree with your car cleaning methods and you don't have to agree with mine but there's no need for you to come on my thread making comments like I don't have a clue what I'm doing when I'm pretty confident I do and the results easily show that.
I have no desire to enter a debate with you so I would appreciate you just letting it drop.

I need to take Toby to the petrol station in kirkcaldy today to fill up my gas ...problem is with this dvla tax problem he isn't taxed at the minute.
Do you think I'd get away with delboys approach and put a bit paper in window saying tax in post lol.
I mean I'm gonna be paying for October's road tax anyway.

Have to agree Tam, it's bit of an unnecessary risk. I'd say wait til Monday and ring the DVLA but your chance of getting through on a Monday are pretty slim - so just be a rufty tufty FLT and take a cold shower!

Tam

My draw attention to check the vehicle if a human sees it, and it will make no difference if you pass an ANPR camera.
I wouldn't risk that tam, if some idiot crashes into you etc, it will invalidate everything.

Ach I've already done it now and back safe and sound. I wasn't sure how much gas was in it as these bottles don't have guages
Took a total of £5.36 Lol so may be wasn't desperate but I've been leaving water heater on as I've been flushing all the tanks and pipes with citric acid to clean them out.
No anpr cameras up here fortunately and just a half hour drive
Shouldn't need to move him again now till tax is sorted out

Another wee addition to Toby today
His voile curtains are missing so I made my own for the big bedroom window :p
