Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

When I was in Iceland in Feb, I used my Metro Bank card for all my "cash" spending, no foreign currency at all...
They don't charge fees or commission - and the amounts & rates show up as pending on the app very quickly [sometimes within minutes] so no nasty surprises...

Glad to see you're feeling a little better Tam - great pics as ever - still just a phone camera?
Hi yes lots better now thankfully I'm a lousy patient.

Yes still only my Samsung s7 phone for pics and all just as they are no editing.

I'm outside a wee village in the mountains called grazalema you can see in the second last pic. Nice quiet spot with a couple of other motorhomes here. Will do me for the night:)

Loved it at Grazalema but it's been a long time, too long, since we were there. Need another trip there I think.

You're being lucky with the weather cos it's a well known rainy place .

Not been in to the town yet going to go look in the morning.
Clouds coming over the mountains now but still sunny thankfully

Soooo

A quick look around grazalema this morning ...it was heaving and shoot me but it wisnae that fantastic so it was in the van and off to ronda where we had a cycle around and saw the sights ...nice wee town stayed for lunch read for a bit and then hit the road heading for San Pedro. ...found a lovely spot on the road between the two with a lovely view and as it was still scorching I parked up for a chair out and caught some rays....and I was joined by a herd of goats which was interesting ...i tried to pet one but they weren't having it.

Heading to San Pedro tomorrow going to grab a bit shopping and do some laundry will stay there tomorrow then head to toremolinos for Tuesday night which will out me in good proximity for collecting my mate from Malaga airport on Wednesday.

Here's some pics from today .... might be short on pics now over the next week as I'll be covering old ground that I've already posted but will see.

Nice photos, Impressive bridge.
Are they ‘Orange sellers’ on holiday I see in the 4th from bottom photo?;)

You certainly have the knack of finding great places to stay!

I enjoy reading about your travels.... :)

What did Jade think of the Goats?
Love your photos, can you send some of that sun to us here near Montauban, France?

She just looked at them full of curiosity. ..horses are her biggest thing she doesn't quite no what to make of them but she's a good girl no barking or growling at them.

It was chilly in that spot this morning when I left but last evening even at 8.30 pm it was still in the high 20's my nose is a little burnt lol.

I'm down in San Pedro now just a few km's past marbella same spot I was in before

It's just luck most of the time and not all are as pretty but he who dares as they say ha ha

I swear though last night it was darker there than I've ever seen not even stars ....and I swear I heard wolves howling

See you have got some "Beard" competition going on in the 5th from last pic :)

Jings 200 pages who'd have thought lol

Anyway you've gotta be hard-core to sunbathe on the beach here today in San Pedro...its blowing a gale and I resemble a donut but my mates over on Wednesday and I'm determined to be seriously tanned ha ha as he's an Irishman from Aberdeen so a kind of pale blue :p

There's a few of us die hards on the beach but not many

It was probably those French birds, trying to get your attention! You might be famous amongst French students now!! X

Tam

I had not missed you - that's not an insult or lack of interest, but just that we have just returned from 2 weeks in Greece for Basia's Birthday. We had an excellent time - for a non-MH holiday, but it was on my favourite island, where I know dozens of people and all the tavernas and beaches - you would love some of them, although my favourite, total sand, taverna and tamerisk trees, is not MH-accessible as one has to walk 30+mins. from nearest road, but there are others where one could wild camp undisturbed, as there are rarely MHs on the island.

Look forward to hearing more when your 'squatter' has been evicted.

I have to admit zakynthos is my favourite Greek island and if I do a second year touring eastern Europe etc then I plan to do a few of the Greek isles :)

He just arrived yesterday so spent most of today showing him Malaga city then we went for lunch and a few drinks. .fell asleep on the beach lol so he's a little burnt already:p

Which is my fault apparently lol
But it's been a laugh and the company is good , although all the sand in my MH and tripping over his bloody stuff isn't lol
