I've brought so much clothes with me and I'll likely never wear most of them.

I don't think I have a single item of clothing without poo bags in a pocket somewhere. They wreak havoc in the washing machine :D.

So I got bored of the millionaire lifestyle in marbella and drove about 15km to a wee town called estapona ....the old town is very pretty with its narrow streets everyone decorated with flower baskets.
It looks dead but it was actually quite busy around the bars and restaurants

And saw a lovely old Austin 1300 ...my dad had one of those and it was a bucket ....this one looks good

All my trousers and shorts have six pockets, always full of stuff. The poo bags are in the left leg pocket. I have to wear a strong belt to hold them up otherwise they fall down under the weight of all the stuff. And most are the same colour too, variations on beige.

Yes I thought it was lovely and all you can smell is the flowers and bbq. ..its nice along the beach too lots of different flowers and colours

Where are you staying Tam? The town looks beautiful. Worth a visit, I would say, when we are next down that way.
 
Yes the Austin needs the Hydrolastic pumping up :)

Estepona was quite a popular holiday resort , supposed to have nice beaches.
 
Another good spot just a few miles away by the sea close to bars, restaurants & beach is at Manliva (near Duquesa) parking alongside seawall - often seen a few vans overnighting there! :)

Good grief. Took my driving test in one of those, think it was actually an 1100, with BSM. OMG that was over 50 years ago.

Break the mould. Within minutes from you is in my opinion one of the nicest campsites around with 5 star facilities. It’s called Bella Vista.

Go on treet yourself.

Have to agree on that Trevor!! :) and it is only a 5 minute walk from the parking area I have shown !

Did they have that on that age ? I remember the hydrolastic mid 80's but I think that was a lot older ...
 
Seen as I'm such a nosey bugger any chance of a few pics of your van interior tam? Interested to see where your calling home at the moment.
 
Tony. 1966 for me. What amazed me was after the test I was so excited my instructor drove me back and I was aghast at his driving, starting in second gear, holding the car on the clutch, never touching the handbrake. After all the strict instructions to me he was the opposite when behind the wheel.
