Tam, Jade and Franky's European Adventure

The mad turn on the beach means she's flipped trying to understand Scottish:D. She looks a really happy girl. Keep up the good work(y)(y).

The wee clip on one of my cab blinds broke tonight so thought I'd superglue it .....

I now have 8 of my fingers with glue on them and I even managed to get it on my bottom lip and the tip of my tongue and the feckin clip still isn't glued

I've a bit skin missing off my lip and no fingerprints. ..

Well I moved from my lovely little cove this morning and I wished I'd stayed.
I tried to get parked at the next wee town which was impossible, tried to park at the naturist beach ...was impossible.
Then I arrived in nerja ...they don't like motorhomes ...couldnt even find a place to stop there , tried to visit the caves carpark allows cars or coaches no provision for anything else ....only good thing about nerja was a petrol station with motorhome services fill and empty and a motorhome wash area with a gantry to access the roof.

Downside is it's all in one area so no one can use the water tap or empty cassette if your cleaning the motorhome. I got in was emptying grey and refilling and thought I'd nip up on the roof and clean my skylights and solar panels and the next thing is a very impatient French man is moaning at me wanting in to empty .......so I washed the van so he had to wait :D
Took about 40 mins so he was rather red when I left but hey ho if he hadn't been whining about me cleaning my skylights I'd have left and not bothered washing the whole van.

So I'm currently roadside somewhere near torre trying to thing of the best place to go next ....its boiling today at 22° with no breeze so really I want to go lie on a beach lol

So got knows where I'll end up

Ok for you going to lay on beach somewhere while it's still freezing here in Kinross you lucky thing still enjoying all the pics keep them coming.:)

Love it, poetic justice if you have ever been waiting behind a French Motorhome at a service point you would know what I mean.

Oh i have .....have to say I've not met a friendly French man on this entire trip they have all been impatient and arrogant ...they don't even make an effort to communicate

So I just said no comprendo and shrugged while he ranted and then I locked the van went in to the station and got 2 tokens to wash the van lol .....needless to say he wasn't happy but the only words I understood was ignorante idiot lol ....so I kept the hose going till it ran out of water and then mucked about filling a couple of bottles too lol.

Cheeky bugger he was

Well I can say without a doubt Torre del Mar is a dump ...naff beach full of rubbish and would never come here on holiday

I thought it was a popular place too

Well done. Until the cloggy orange people in February the most problems here have been with the French not understanding the use of specific taps for specific jobs. They are also the ones who have stated that the €7 fee is too expensive.

Popular doesn't equate to good/nice!!!

stay on the closest roads to the sea and look around as you go. you will i,m sure find places you like . bet you passed some but went too fast and missed the better places .
its the little villages between the well known places that are the best.

Yeah they are right miserable sods i have to say ...

And yeah I know the popular doesn't always mean nice but having not been to mainland Spain before there's just some names stick in mind as I've heard them mentioned as beach holiday locations ....have to say that's a pretty grim beach back in Scotland it wouldn't be entertained it's filthy and full of rubbish :(

I passed a couple of wee places but nothing really caught my eye but I've found a wee cove again about 3 miles easy of Malaga which is not too bad ( if you ignore the cement works behind it lol )

and there's a walk or cycle path from here along to Malaga so might do that tomorrow. Done a lot of driving today so staying put for a day or two as long as it's quiet here at night.

We almost caught up with you. :) We are in Nerja now but only for one night then we will head inland and head slowly towards the sherry country, probably staying in Puerto de Santa Maria for a few days.

Does anyone know if cats are destructive in engine bays? ....this place I'm parked there's 3 young cats keep climbing up in to my engine bay. I don't mind them going in there to sleep if they don't do any damage.

I don’t think your engine will sustain damage... however the damage to the moggies might be substantial!

Put the dog nearby, or buy a water pistol......good fun.

Had that happen a few times in Portugal this year. They were noisy but , fortunately, did not do any damage, tried to chase them off but they just came back.
