Is that a new roof the guy has added on his merc?
I think its original...it was originally a german military radio van , then a dutch radio amsterdam mobile dj bus then mikael bought it around
The bait worked, caught yer.

For all the petrol heads and lovers of old motors . Ive just created another Instagram for fun of cars i spot or find on my travels that are abandoned or unrestored .

For the Instagram users i could use some follows and promotes for my accounts 😉

IM Not after world fame but who knows if i boost my accounts it could help fund travels in the future , it dont cost you anything but once i hit 1000 followers on these accounts i could earn a small amount from them.

No hassle if its not your thing

But my accounts are

Travel blog @the_boondockin_bums

Vario build @boonie_the_vario

Abandoned Car spotting @rust_in_piece_s

Thanks in advance

You would have been in your element looking around those ruins, Tam.
I have learnt several new words from the signage - hestiatorion, double-aspidal, stoa.
My challenge today will be to see how many times I can use those words.
I must go now. It’s time for breakfast in the hestiatorion.

Argghh harr me hearties ....

Went in search of one of greece most famous shipwrecks but surprisingly a lot less photographed than the one at gythio ....so this was originally built in london in 1953 and named the city of york ..it sailed between London and cape town but was later sold to a greek company who renamed it Mediterranean sky .... Its lay capsized in this bay since 2003 .

It was a nice looking ship, shame it wasn't rescued/fixed up before it fell over.
I expect the mooring fees on the dock were getting expensive, but Its obvious the owner is not paying storage fees or penalties for spoiling a lovely looking bay, where it is now.
Reminds me of a ship that was deliberately scuttled off the coast in Goa, but the locals soon made haste in stripping it for scrap, there seemed to be people cutting away at bits of it every day.(y)

Theres a load of ships in this bay thats been decommissioned and are just rotting away ....some are moored together in the middle of the bay probably to try and stop them capsizing too

Are they not shallow drilling platform boats? Possibly for gas if that tanker type boat is with them?

Is the yellow one and tanker, front wheel drive Merc's.+possibly a D410? There's an early Anglia and Fiesta.? VW Beetles of course and a 2CV?
Well you got the beetle and the part of a 2cv right at least . Theres nae anglia or fiesta though and the tanker and yellow bus are both hanomags . Quite a few hanomags there . An old citroen ds , a reliant robin , a regal , a nice old kadett , some rare beasts in amongst that lot. Id love that kadett

IF the yellow one is front wheel drive, it may have been Hanommags over there but in 1969 the truck making division was sold to Daimler Benz and I think it had a Merc badge on it when it was sold over here.

I'm also surprised that the sloping rear window car is not an Anglia?
