Tam & co the great winter escape

Well done Tam. But can you keep it off again! That is sadly the question. Sometimes getting it off is ok but unless it is an actual permanent change in eating habits we put it back on. Because we’re human. 🤞🤞🤞💕. Hoping you will. You do have a strong will power

Cracking day through here ....sun has brought out all the locals .

New phone so tell me if the pics are clearer.

Pictures are fine and Ayrshire looks beautiful too.

Looks like mum is getting home tomorrow or Thursday for 6 weeks on antibiotics and then taken back in later for a full replacement knee. They don't want to do it just now as they think it will cause more tissue damage. They can't make their minds up.

Looks like hard work that defender🤷🏻‍♂️
You might be surprised I think those tents are the new type you basically just fold it open like a suitcase and the tent pops up

Great quality pics from the new phone! 👍

Take a while to download, but that might be just my fairly average internet connection.

Off to the west coast for a few days to give hobnob a leg stretch ...heading to Largs on Razamataz recommendation. Nice day for it
OMG guess where we were supposed to be stopping tonight! We decided instead to stay at Ardrossan by the beach and have had a lovely afternoon and evening here, we're planning on being at Largs tomorrow though ... you have been warned! 😄

Tam, I haven’t been to Largs mariner for 10 years, which was no overnight stopping in that car park, are they now charging to stop overnight?

No it's free . There's another carpark actually in the marina which may be charged but this one is free and authorised

There are 3 carparks, the furthest one is chargeable and meant to only be used by boat owners, however there are 2 as you first drive over the railway bridge, the one on the right nearest the water doesn't allow overnighting (I think it still allows daytime parking though) and the one on the left is where you are allowed to stay FOC without any issues.

You're safe Tam, it another lovely day so we've decided to stay at Ardrossan and have a mooch round the shops then slob out for the day once the dogs have had their legs walked off so we don't get nagged. 😊
