This was what he sent me on whatsapp

But the number he is phoning on is 07554384629

Its amazing the lengths they will go to for a scam

I also have his bank details which are linked to that name on passport. I wonder if it would be enough for the police.

He has my email address , home address and my mobile number. Im hoping thats not enough info to do any damage

EPC Plc proper load of scammers. Legitimate european collection company who I can assure you are not in the least afraid of illegally using any or all of the legislation in place to confuse, harrass & deceive you. They have no qualms about using data from one country in another in breach of the gdpr & data protection laws.
Why would they send you a notice otherwise when they know full well that it has to be received within 14 days of the offence anywhere?

They tried it on with me thinking they were dealing with a foreigner & tried to state that aparking fine came under the EU cross border act for which there are only 8 offences & parking isn't one of them.& they sent the notice 7 months after.
Absolute scum of a company wherever it is based.

Interesting that they were able to get your address - thought all data cooperation had ceased since Brexit.

they work in all eu countries running many toll schemes & or parking companies & as above have no qualms using info in one country illegally in another.

believe they send the data to a UK company which I assume has access to DVLA data.

It is an EU wide company with offices all over .

I placed a wanted add on gumtree for a scooter rack and ive had someone today message me saying they had one available.

They phoned and have a very distinctive English accent. They said about sending it to me by courier as they work in warehousing.

Sent me photos of the rack ...its an easylifter.

Says he wants £140 for it . Which is a very cheap easylifter..

Now heres my concerns. The gumtree message came from "william"

I asked the guy for a photo of id as he wants me to pay £60 up front and the rest when delivered.

The photo id is a passport of mr martin bridgin . Birmingham

Asked his adress on phone he initially said 33 edward street inverness then he whatsapped me and said his home address is 24 old Edinburgh road inverness .

So im a little suspicious.

He may well be genuine but my instincts are screaming scammer.

I have his bank details , phone number, passport photo etc .

But it could all be false

go with your gut , it smells, ,badly.

Love the pic of Ela sucking her cheeks in to taste the smells. Looks gorgeous there. Nearly as nice as Nidderdale where we are at the moment on a Ccc THS. No sign of any funsters though

Yeah you get ones without wheels that just hang from the towbar. But the pics he sent are 2 different racks.

He was good but not good enough .... He's gone quiet now though

I'm a bit late to the scooter rack party, but given you had a passport photo of him, I'd have asked him to take a picture of the rack with him in it, that should have confirmed it one way or another, or just asked for a picture with certain random items included as well as the rack.

I think the pictures of the rack itself confirmed it was a scam as when he sent the first pic he claimed it was less than a year old. Soon as i saw the other pics i noticed the lights and the actual bike platform were completely different. He tried to call again last night about 9.30 but i just ignored it.

Eh, it’s before the 9pm watershed time….

Ive just been out playing with my new telescopic ladder ... Im definitely lowering those solar panels.

But Lenny HB would have kittens of he saw the wiring on the roof of this. Not a bit of trunking to be seen anywhere. And if the panel came with 1.5 metre of cable he's left that on it ... there's just rolls of cable lying under each panel bloody cowboy.

So when we get a period of continuous dry weather I'll have to go on the roof and remove each panel one at a time , clean under it , fit trunking, shorten the cables and then refitt the panel 2 inches lower.

Its a different roof on this than im used to the outer skin seems to be floating.
