Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

I've often wondered what would happen if I re-registered my van in the Uk? I converted it here & now it is legally a van with living accommodation . ie.e camper/motorhome. We have varying definitions & classes here.
they certainly wouldn't offer me "van with windows " as I have none in either side:xlaugh:
Yeah its all gone stupid now .... insurance is the biggest problem as not many companies cover the true value

Under 9 seats not considered to be a bus or minibus almost certain to be hgv "box van" so would become phgv for tax , still hgv for driving licence (C1) and if fitted inside for motorcaravan (not carrying anything not needed for use as such) class 4 for mot . (otherwise hgv plating and testing as a living van) Northernraider
I plan to remove the 4 rear seats also so it will just be a 3 seater but with the two windows behind the front seats.

Rear transverse bed with large storage underneath ... decent sized bathroom with shower and cassette loo but no sink and casssette removal inside the van rather than a hole cut in the side.

Possibly a small woodburner and diesel heater.
Need to research 12v only fridges or low powered 240v working from an inverter.
B2b with 2 large leisures and 500w solar with tilting frames etc

Should be fun to build ....

Would anyone like to see a pic of the beach in 27° to make you all feel better? Or would it look like a na na na nana moment?

Ahhh who cares😁

Nice spot for Christmas hopefully

I thought the music was absolutely fantastic,wonderful,inspiring..........that must mean I’m not an oldie (just delusional :xrofl: ).

Great pics, one of them reminded me of a song from my childhood (oh that’s a giveaway) “ Don’t jump off the roof dad,you might make a hole in the yard”. :xwink::unsure::ROFLMAO:. Can’t remember who sang it.

Lovely vid Tam & loved the music too. Happy Christmas to you both. I hope it stays warm & dry for you.:xThumb::xThumb:

I think I definitely fall into the category of an oldie but loved both the video and the music. Thanks for taking the time and trouble Tam.
Please give Jackie my respect and admiration for both the swimming and solo traveling.
Here's wishing both you hoomans and tbe pups a very happy Xmas.
May you and your respective families and friends enjoy a peaceful and happy time.

Me thinks you need a hearing test.
Im curious what music you listen to lol as yer ayways complaining aboot mine.

You and my mum are the worst ....she didnae like it either ....thinks its miserable which if you listen to the lyrics is anything but....its a guy content with his lot escaping a commercialised society ....i dunno the song kind of strikes a chord with me.

Looks a fantastic spot...👍🏼 How much is the short trip over on the ferry..? Looking on google maps it looks interesting and lots of quiet beaches on the island...

Me thinks you need a hearing test.

Pardon?????!!! :xrofl::xrofl:

Its funny you should say that, but I think you’re right. Not because I like Tams taste in music, but because I struggle to hear conversations in crowded rooms....not that I go in those much now. I also struggle to hear the words of popular songs, but thought that was down to anno domini.

Where is the best place to go for a hearing test................I imagine you’ve already been???!!!! :xrofl::ROFLMAO::xwink:
