Does anyone have any update on the A47 closure please?
It looks as though we can divert on the A10 to West Winch then head back towards the A47???

I am stuck in Cromer waiting for recovery as my exhaust has fallen off!
Depends where snapped but go for it.... You'll sound like a monster truck.....

Burst main in the existing roadworks overnight so I would avoid it all day.

If your coming from the west turn left at the roundabout on A 149 next roundabout turn right to Gayton past the crematorium turn right in Gayton village to Knarbough lakes then left on A47 7 miles to Swaffam 👍

Is the A47 definitely open at that point Steve?

If your coming from the west you can turn right off the A1142 onto the A47 but you cannot turn left onto the A47 so i'm not sure if you could join the A47 further north.

Change of plan for us ,we wont be arriving untill Fri morning ,Put dogs in kennels to avoid tick problem .What time can we get there ???

Ok thanks for letting us know. Arrival anytime after 8:30. When you arrive, stop by the marshalling tent on the left. If no-one there please toot. Giving a rough ETA will help.

We sat around at home until 12 , 30 then set off to arrive at 3pm as instructed..didn't get the update

I am sorry that the first arrival time changed on the day, but the opportunity arose to spread things out across the day so we took it.

Appreciate not everyone monitors the forum but it made it much easier for everyone. Even so, those arriving just after 3 pm saw the bedlam.

I have wondered if there would be a better way of communicating i.e a What’s App group, but that would involve everyone knowing each other’s phone number, so I guess the only way is by checking on here frequently.

Thank you to the marshals for getting us all pitched up.
We are in the pale blue IH Ducato fairly well in the centre of the field, do come and say hello.
I carry an Automatic Defibrillator :h:which is in the passenger door pocket. I hope it will never be needed …….. but, just bang on the door. !

Hi Marshalls,
We will be heading off tomorrow after work, so hoping to be with you between 9-10pm.
Looking forward to catching up and seeing who gets the candle this year 🤣
Our son Brad (14 yrs), is looking at getting a little part time job, so has suggested offering his services for any odd carrying jobs this weekend you need doing, £1 a trip 🤣💩💩💩🤣

£1.00 a trip...! I'll give him a darn site more if he's prepared to do a good job... (y)

Cheers

Blue sky's here today let's hope it warms up quickly
Nearly time for breakfast then a poodle about to say hello
I have some books for Emmitt just need to find him in the throng of vans chairs bikes and funsters

Just a heads up for everyone that's not in the know.

There is a thing around here called Flexibus+, apparently you can book a pickup from the site and name your destination (within about 20 miles!), similar to a taxi but at Bus prices.

Runs every day 7am to 7pm except Sunday.

Remember to book a pickup too!

Cheers
Red.

They are near us, pretty close to the club (near the rugby posts). Say hello to us if we are around 🥰

On that subject, could I remind everyone that if an emergency arises and you have to call the emergency services, ask someone nearby (bang on anyone's van if in the night) to let the marshals know so we can facilitate a quick access to the patient/problem. No-one will worry about being disturbed.

One occasion at Thetford, the paramedic turned up and asked who had called 999 and was in a motorhome. We got it sorted, but time would have been saved if the marshals had been aware of the location.

Thanks all. ... Robin
