Hi Marshalls,
We will be heading off tomorrow after work, so hoping to be with you between 9-10pm.
Looking forward to catching up and seeing who gets the candle this year
Our son Brad (14 yrs), is looking at getting a little part time job, so has suggested offering his services for any odd carrying jobs this weekend you need doing, £1 a trip

Thanks for letting us know. If you go in the club, one of the marshals may still be there. If not, park in the car park overnight and we will pitch you in the morning.

On that subject, could I remind everyone that if an emergency arises and you have to call the emergency services, ask someone nearby (bang on anyone's van if in the night) to let the marshals know so we can facilitate a quick access to the patient/problem. No-one will worry about being disturbed.

One occasion at Thetford, the paramedic turned up and asked who had called 999 and was in a motorhome. We got it sorted, but time would have been saved if the marshals had been aware of the location.

Maybe with this number of vans, any number really a simple procedure of lights and hazards on to identify the van needing help

If desperate horn panic button or alarm
Not SOS on the horn as this may be lost in situation but 3 long blasts that is if this can be done whilst helping the injured/sick person.

This could be adopted for all medical emergecies. Spilling wine however does not meet the emergency criteria.

Apparently they use the club as a rehearsal space but this is a performance for us.

My apologies, SUGGY. I played ten or so tracks after the quiz, but the noise levels were so high, I was getting complaints from those nearest that it was too loud, and those furthest away that they couldn't hear it. It's also been a couple of long days with tomorrow and Sunday expected to be late nights with some still arriving in the morning. So I stopped as it was pointless and one Funster said they wanted to chat and catch up with old friends. If that's the wrong decision, then I am sorry.
